Trip to See the colors in The CO. Mountians

We woke up Saturday morning, with nothing to do.
It is the day we spend together.
Since moving to Colorado,
we have fallen in love with the mountains
and four wheeling.
So naturally my hubby says,
"Let's go see the colors in the Mountains."
And of course I said , NO!
Just kidding, I said Yes, let's go.
We packed the jeep and headed for
Mosquito Pass.

Beauty beyond words.

A hidden waterfall we found.

Maximo and Rosie Posing in front of the Fall.
(you know I had to have one pic of the pooches)

The Aspen Trees out side of Aspen.

God Sure did make us a beautiful place to live!

Granny Square Challenge - Week One

As most of you know,

" My name is Sara, and I am addicted to yarn".

I Love the way it looks all lined up in the shelves,
I love all the different textures, and colors.
I Love to think of all the projects and things I could make....
I have a bunch of "Stash yarn" and decided to
challenge myself to make 7 granny squares a week.
Learn some new Styles and and make fun things out of them.
Here is what I accomplished this week.
I actually crocheted
 12 different Granny Squares.

Now do you have any ideas of what I should make with all the
granny squares?

Where were you ten years Ago????

My husband and I were in Washington State,
he on business, me for fun.
We were sitting at the hotel having  breakfast when
CNN first made the announcement of a plane hitting
one of the towers.  The room grew silent as the
announcement of the the next plane, then the
pentagon and another going down in Pennsylvania.
It was a so silent, not a fork hitting plate,
or a sip from a coffee cup.
We were stranded and ended up
keeping our rental car and driving home to Oklahoma.

I may or may not agree with all that
has happened since, but I  very
proud to be an American.
Please, don't forget that the freedom
 you and I have
was not Free,
it cost many people their lives!

I Love This picture.

I Just want to say Thank-you!
