Kindness is the Opposite of Bullying

I want to start out this morning's blog with saying,
I hate bullying,
But I do not hate Bullies,
 I feel sorry for them.

A Few Days ago, my daughter in law, my grand daughter and
I were at a Chicken Restaurant for lunch.
My grand daughter, who is not quite 2 years old yet,
wanted to play in the play area.

There were a few children in there,
we were the only adults around.
I looked over to see a boy of about the size of 6 year old,
on top of my grand daughter, pushing her in the
corner with his elbow on her neck.

I walked over, moved the boy and picked her up.
I told the boy he was being mean.
So we proceeded to go to the car and leave.

As I was strapping her in the car seat,
a woman came up to me asked me what I did to her son.
I said, "who is your son."
She pointed. I said I moved him off of my grand daughter.
She said," Why didn't you come to me."
I said you were no where around
and I didn't know who he belonged too.

I thought she was going to apologize for her son
 putting a "choke hold"on a baby.
OH NO!
I got yelled at, and cussed at, and called names.
Loudly.
I smiled..Big mistake!
The Filth from her mouth continued.

I do want to explain that I have a condition called,
"inappropriate laughter". I laugh at weird times.
Like when something emotional happens.

Anyway, I ignored her and got in the car and left-
Then burst out laughing.

The reason the child was a bully,
is he learned it from his mommy.
How very sad.
We all probably, by now,
 have experienced Cyber Bullying.
People think that they can "say" what ever they
want and it won't hurt anyone.
But it does.
It goes on in all walks of life,
Even the Crochet World!
Please, remember to be kind,
as you never know what battle the person
 you are bullying, is fighting.

Kindness is the opposite of Bullying.

Ephesians 4:32

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
