Oklahoma Graph Crochet Pattern

I am from Oklahoma,
and although I live in Colorado, now,
my heart is still in Oklahoma.

My Daughter, Elisabeth of
Lived in Moore, OK
At the time of the Tornado.
They did not loose their home,
But lived about a mile from those who did.

So I decided to create a
graph from the pictures
I saw on several facebook pages.

Here is what I came up with.
I decided on
Oklahoma Thunder Colors

I used:
 I Love This yarn -
Blue neon, orange, cream and black
H-Hook

42 squares across X 31 squares
Approximately 8 X 10 inches

 Each square= 1 sc
Working from the bottom to the top
I think it looks great!
But something was missing.....

I embroidered the word
"home."
With black yarn using straight sts.

Please, Add This Crochet Pattern to Your

Love Stamp Graph Crochet Pattern

Love Stamp Graph
 Crochet Pattern in
Neons!!
The First Thing I did was
graph out the
Love Stamp by hand.

1 Square = 1 sc
The graph will measure 12 X 16 inches approximately,
I Chose my colors - I Love This yarn, neons,
I used a H- Hook

Then I started at the bottom
and worked my way up the graph.
Once the graph was done,
Then I decided I wanted a cool trim.
1 dc in each st on each side, putting 2 dc in each corner.
Then for all the different color rows around,
I stitched the dc in the space between the stitches.
The last row is 3 sc, 1 sc with a picot st,
repeated around all 4 sides.

I did block the mat and let it dry in the sun.

I Love it!
Its Bright and Cheerful.

Its the perfect size for a car rug,
or mat for my dogs.
Hope you try this graph and make one too.

Crochet Patriotic Flag Wreath

Well, I think Summer is well on its way.
When the weather turns warm, I get patriotic.
I Love America.
We spent 16 years in the US Air Force,
so I am very patriotic.
I made this Flag Wreath last evening.
This Link on Ravelry
is were I got the idea from.
I changed the stripes and
added my puppies.

The puppies were crocheted by
 my daughter,
Elisabeth Spivey of
She designed them to look my My Dogs
Maximo and Rosie

I love it!
I try to add the
Crochet Puppies to
all my wreaths.
