It's a Hood.
It's a Scarf
It's a Scoodie!
With Pockets!
Thank you for your great pattern!
ReplyDeleteCant wait to get started! Converting wool to Au equivalent. Easy...
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm confused. When doing the scarf. I chain 70 off each corner of the hood. Then do 20 rows of the SC and DC how to you attach that to the hood?
ReplyDeleteWhen I read the pattern it sounded as if you chain 60(70) then single crochet across neck then chain another 60... i would guess 70 for bigger size, although not stated. Then start the dc & sc across the chains, the neck, the other chains, turning and going back and forth for the width it calls for. I hope this helps some.
ReplyDeleteI am only getting 73 stitches what am I doing wrong
ReplyDeleteYour pattern does not include the crochet hook size. Could you please send.
ReplyDeleteIt's a "I" hook
DeleteLook under Materials, it says to use an "I" 5.5mm crochet hook.
DeleteThere is no gauge and I want to use a different yarn. How many stitches per inch is your pattern?
ReplyDeleteI think I can use your pattern and put a horn and ears and hair on it to make my great niece the scoohie unicorn she wants
ReplyDeleteCan you please send me the directions for the hood. Doesn't inform how to close the hood, or what stitches to use?
ReplyDeleteThank you
The hood is already closed as u are crocheting around the front to the back of it. Read all instructions first before u start any and all crochet patterns. Hope this helped you. Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless you and your family.
DeleteI made this pattern last year for my Mother as a Christmas gift. She loves it!!
ReplyDeleteI was also confused at first about "closing" the hood, but by going around both sides it closes itself. Also yes, you chain off of the corners but then on the return pass you will crochet into the chain, across the base of the hood, and then the other chain. Then it's just back and forth until you get to the right width.
Cahin 60, hdc across the bottom of the hood and then chain 60. Chain 1 then turn, hdc each row.
