Super Quick and Easy Slipper Crochet Pattern

– Bulky (5) – C1 – Variegated 5 oz. Solid C2 – 2 oz.
(The amount of yarn will be
different for each size)

Sizes : Sizes are approximates –
Small (S) - 5-6 (9 inches)
Medium (M) – 7-8 (10 inches)
Large (L) - 9-10 (11 inches)
X-L Large (XL) 11-12 (12 inches)
Pattern
is written as Small with Medium to X Large in parenthesis. S (M, L, XL)
Before You get started measure your foot, so You know what size to make.
Note:
Ch 1 at ends of round does not count as a st, unless indicated.

Step 1 - Starting at
the toe: to help getting your measurements
right. Work on both slippers at the same time.
Make both toe sections before moving to the next step.
It also helps to try them as go, as everyone stitches differently.
R: 1 – With C1, Ch 3,
6 (8, 10, 12) sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
join with a sl st, ch 1 (6sc)
R: 2 – 2sc in each sc, join, ch1 (12, 16, 20, 24sc)
R: 3 – 2 sc in the 1st sc, *1 sc in the next sc,
2 sc in the next sc*
Repeat From * to *,
Join,
ch 1 (18, 24, 30, 36 sc)
R: 4 – 1 sc in each sc, join, ch1 (18, 24, 30, 36 sc)
R: 5 – Repeat R : 4
R: 6 – 2 sc in the 1st sc, 1 sc in each sc around, join, ch 1
(19, 25, 31,37 sc)
R: 7 – 1 sc in each sc, join, ch1 (19, 25, 31, 37 sc)
R: 8 - 2 sc in the 1st sc, 1 sc in each sc around, join, ch 1

26, 32, 38 sc)
R: 9 – 1 sc in each sc, join, ch 1 (20, 26, 32, 38 sc)
R: 10 - 2 sc in the 1st sc, 1 sc in each sc around, join, ch 1

27, 33, 39 sc)
R: 11 – 1 sc in each sc, join, ch1 (21, 27, 33, 39 sc)
R: 12 - 1 sc in each sc, join, ch 1 ( 21, 27, 33, 39 sc)
For M Repeat R: 13 2 more times,
For Large Repeat R: 13 4 more times
For X Large Repeat R: 13 6 more times
For X Large Repeat R: 13 6 more times
Step 2 - Center Section :
R: 13 – 1 sc in the next 17 (19, 21, 23) sc,
TURN, ch 1, (17, 19, 21, 23) sc
R: 14 -21 - 1 sc in each sc, Turn, ch1
For Medium repeat add 2
more round,
For Large add 2 more
rounds,
XL add 2 more rounds.
Forming The Heel:
R
: 22 – 1 sc in the 1st 6 (8, 10, 12) sc, st tog the next 2 sc,
1
sc in the next sc, st together the next sc, 1 sc in the
next 6(8,10sc)Turn,
ch1
R
: 23 -1 sc in the 1st 5 (7, 9, 11) sc, st tog the next 2 sc,
1
sc in the next sc, st together the next sc, 1 sc in the next 5(7,9,11sc)
Place
th2 ends together, wrong side out, and slst to sew closed the heel,
sl st back up the heel. Turn right side out.
You
should be ready to st around the top of the slipper.
Step 3 - Ankle Band: With C2
R
: 24 –Evenly sc around the top edge of the slipper.
You will need 32(34,36, 38 sc)
R
: 25 – Ch 3, 1 dc in the next 10(12, 14, 16) sc,
*dc tog the next 2 sc, 1 dc in
the next sc*
Repeat
From * to * 2 more times,
Dc in the next 10(12, 14, 16) sc, join, ch 3
R
: 26 – *1 dc in the next dc, FPDC in the next dc*,
Repeat From * to * around,
join, tie off weave in your ends.
And That is it
.
You can make the ankle band higher,
or add stripes, flowers, buttons and bows!
