This New Design was in the works for a while.
I was inspired by a Eyeball beanie
I saw a boy wearing,
when I took my grand daughter to the local
pumpkin patch.
It was knit, but I thought that style would look great
using our Colorado Flag.
So I made a sketch and went off my drawing.
And This Awesome Beanie hat
is what I came up with.
I absolutely love it,
and love wearing it all over our town.
I get lots of compliments!
I chose to use worsted weight yarns,

Notes:
Rounds are
joined with a sl st.
Ch3 at
beginning of round counts as a dc.
The White
yarn needs to be wound into 2 balls or spools.
You will
work the white stripes without cutting the yarn,
using 1 ball of white yarn for each
stripe.
Carrying Your Yarn –
The Blue portion of
the beanie is worked by carrying
Your yarn across the
white stripes.
You leave the
1st color attached,
and crochet over the yarn, on
the back side.
Be careful to not pull
the yarn to tight or it will bunch,
and not lay flat.
