3 skeins Lion Brand/Hometown USA – El Paso
Autumn (C1)
3 skeins Softee
Chunky Bernate – Rust (C2)
3 Buttons – 1.5
inch – I used Wooden Buttons
Yarn Needle
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Foundation Double
Crochet (FDDC)
Double
Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Change (chg)
Space (sp)
Size: 10 inches wide by 70
inches long
Notes:
Ch3 counts a
dc at beginning of rows.
When
changing colors, ch3 after the color change.
R: 1 – With
C2, 150 FDDC, Turn
(150 FDDC – The amount of sts will remain the
same throughout the project,
Unless
otherwise indicated.)
R: 1 - Option 2 - Ch 151, 1 dc in the 2nd ch from the hook, and in each ch across, turn

R: 13. Tie off and weave in your end.

Attach C1, to the opposite end of the cowl. Dc evenly across, ch 3 turn
R: 16 – 1 dc
in each dc across, turn, ch3
R: 17 –
Repeat R: 16, tie off, weave in your ends.
Place the
ends of the cowl together, layering one end over the other.
Sew on the 3
Buttons, going through both layers of the cowl.
With matching yarn and needle tack the corners down if needed.
