Fall Into Winter Chunky Cowl

It is 70 inches long and 10 inches wide. 
Soft, chunky and comfy to wear.
This Cowl also stitches up really fast because
  it is stitched with a big hook and chunky yarns.

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook – N 9.00M
Yarn – Bulky (6) about 10 0z. of each color
                              3 skeins Lion Brand/Hometown USA – El Paso Autumn (C1)
                              3 skeins Softee Chunky Bernate – Rust (C2)
3 Buttons – 1.5 inch – I used Wooden Buttons
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Foundation Double Crochet (FDDC)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Change (chg)
Space (sp)

Size: 10 inches wide by 70 inches long

Notes:
Ch3 counts a dc at beginning of rows.
When changing colors, ch3 after the color change.

R: 1 – With C2, 150 FDDC, Turn
 (150 FDDC – The amount of sts will remain the same throughout the project,
Unless otherwise indicated.)

R: 1 - Option 2 - Ch 151, 1 dc in the 2nd ch from the hook, and in each ch across, turn

R: 2 - Change to C1, ch3, 1 dc in the next dc,
*Ch1, sk 1 dc, 1 dc in the next 2 dc* Repeat From * to * across,
1 dc in the last 3 dc, turn.

R: 3 – Ch3, 1 dc in the next 2 dc,
*ch1, sk ch1 sp, 1 dc in the next 2 dc* Repeat From * to * across,
1 dc in the last 3 dc, turn.

R: 4 – Chg to C2, ch3, 1 dc in each dc and ch1 sp across, turn.

R: 5 – ch3, 1 dc in each dc across, turn

R: 6 – Repeat R: 2

R: 7: - Repeat R: 3

R: 8 – Repeat R: 4

R: 9 – Repeat R: 5

R: 10 – Repeat R: 2

R: 11 – Repeat R: 3

R: 12 – Repeat R: 4, then turn to the end of your work. St 20 dc evenly across, turn, Ch3

R: 13 – 1 dc in each dc, turn, ch 3

R: 14 – Repeat R: 13. Tie off and weave in your end.

R: 15 - Attach C1, to the opposite end of the cowl. Dc evenly across, ch 3 turn

R: 16 – 1 dc in each dc across, turn, ch3

R: 17 – Repeat R: 16, tie off, weave in your ends.

Place the ends of the cowl together, layering one end over the other.
Sew on the 3 Buttons, going through both layers of the cowl.
With matching yarn and needle tack the corners down if needed.
