The Healing Wrap Shawl Crochet Pattern

 It is a light and lacy shawl, stitched in a shell stitch pattern. 

It measure about 60 inches long and 19 inches wide. 

It is a Wonderful shawl for wearing day, evening or night.

It will add a touch of elegance to any outfit.

You can wrap it around your shoulder to wear as shawl, 

or scrunch it up and wear it around your
 neck like a super scarf.

It is designed with Lion Brands Shawl in Ball Yarn. 

When I first started designing the shawl I 
was not sure I would like this yarn,

but after I got a few rows in, I totally changed my
 thoughts. It is the perfect yarn for this project.

I chose this particular color because it is the color For 

the Hypothyroid/ Hashimoto Awareness Ribbon.

and I love the color name: Healing Teal.

Skill: Easy

Materials:

Crochet Hook – J/ 6.00MM

Yarn – Worsted Weight (4) Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball – 
             2 skeins / 10 ounces   Color - Healing Teal

Yarn Needle

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Double Crochet (dc)

 Skip (sk)

Space (sp)

Size: 60 X 19 inches

Mutiples - 5 + 6 chs

Demo Swatch is - 20 chs

Notes:

Ch3 at the beginning of round counts as a Double Crochet.

Pattern:

R: 1 – Ch 50, 1 dc in the 4th ch from the hook (counts as 1^st dc)

 1 dc in each ch across, Turn, ch 3 (48)

 R: 2 -1 dc in next dc, sk 2 dc,

*2dc, ch1, 2dc in the next dc, ch1, sk 2 dc*, 

Repeat From * to * across row,

1 dc in the last 2 dc, Turn, Ch 3 (2 dc, 14 shells, 2 dc)

R: 3 -1 dc in the next  dc, ch1

* 2 dc, ch1, 2 dc in the ch1 space in the next shell, ch 1 *

Repeat From * to * across Row, 1 dc in the last 2 dc, turn, ch 3

(2 dc, 14 shells, 2 dc)

R: 4 -1 dc in the next  dc, ch1

* 2 dc, ch1, 2 dc in the ch1 space in the next shell, ch 1 *

Repeat From * to * across Row, 1 dc in the last 2 dc, turn, ch 3

(2 dc, 14 shells, 2 dc)

R: 5 – R: 80 – Repeat R: 4

R: 81 - 1 dc in the next  dc, ch1

* 2 dc, ch1, 2 dc in the ch1 space in the next shell, ch 1 *

Repeat From * to * across Row, Turn, ch3

 Do not stitch in the last 2 dc,

(2 dc, 14 shells)

 R: 82 – 1 dc in the 1 st 2 dc of the 1^st shell, ch1,

* 2 dc, ch1, 2 dc in the ch1 space in the next shell, ch 1 *

Repeat From * to * across Row, 1 dc in the last 2 dc, turn, ch 3

 (14 shells, 2dc)

R: 83 -1 dc in the next 2 dc, ch1

* 2 dc, ch1, 2 dc in the ch1 space in the next shell, ch 1 *

Repeat From * to * across Row, Turn, ch3

 Do not stitch in the last 2 dc,

(2 dc, 13 shells)

R: 84 - 1 dc in the 1 st 2 dc of the 1^st shell, ch1,

* 2 dc, ch1, 2 dc in the ch1 space in the next shell, ch 1 *

Repeat From * to * across Row, 1 dc in the last 2 dc, turn, ch 3

 (13 shells, 2dc)

Continue to repeat R: 83 and R: 84 –

Alternating rows until you have decreased down to 

1 shell and 2dc, 

Ch3, Turn, 1 dc in the next 2 dc, ch1, 1 dc in the last 2 dc,

tie off and weave in your ends.

Alternate Option - Straight Edge - Do not do the Scalloped edge, Stitch the Shell st rows until desired length and tie, weave in your ends.
