Materials:

 Crochet Hook – I/ 5.5MM

Yarn – Worsted Weight (4) 4 Colors 48 oz. (12oz of each color)

     I used Red Heart Super Saver - 

     C1- Hyacinth, C2 –Cranberry, C3 – Pool, C4 – Paradise

Yarn Needle

 

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Double Crochet (dc)

Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc)

Back Post Double Crochet (bpdc)

Stitch (st)

Change to (chgto)

 

Size: approximately 36 X 56 inches

Gauge: 2 Rows = 1 inches, 3 = 1 inche

Multiples - 4 + 5 Chs

 

Notes:

Ch 3 counts as 1 dc

When changing colors, ch3 after the color change.

Demo Swatch - 21 Chs

 R: 1 – With C1, ch 111, 1 dc in the 4^th ch from the hook, 

and in each ch across, Turn.

(109 dc)

 

R: 2 – Ch3, 1 dc in each st across, Turn (109 dc)

 

R: 3 – Repeat R: 2

 

R: 4 – Chgto C2, Ch3, 1 dc in the 1^st 2 dc, 

*fpdc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 3 dc*

Repeat From * to * across, turn,Ch3 (109 sts)

 

R; 5 - 1 dc in the 1^st 2 dc, 

*bpdc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 3 dc*

Repeat From * to * across, turn. (109 sts)

 

R: 6 –  Repeat R:4

 

R: 7 - Chgto C2, Repeat R:5

R: 8 – Repeat R: 4

 

R: 9 – Chgto  C4, Repeat R: 4

 

R: 10 - R: 70 - Repeat R: 4 and R: 5  21 More times -

Alternating rows, And Changing color every 3 Rows.

Or more If you want a longer blanket.

R: 71 - R: 73 - Repeat R: 2

Blanket Trim:

Dc evenly on all 4 sides of the blanket, placing 3 dc in each corner,

 in your color of choice.

It's a warm and comfy blanket for pooches and for people.
