Let's Make A Christmas Ornament Together
But First, Today's Question:
"Can you give us some tips on what not to do when you are crocheting?"
1. Do not eat messy or sticky snacks.
No Cheetoz, greasy chips or melted chocolate.
It gets your work all messy, or your hook all sticky.
YUCK!
My favorite snack while crocheting is
Coffee and M and M's.
"They melt in your mouth, not your hands".
2. Do not get mad or upset and cry.
It gets your project wet.
But really, if you
are emotional it can change your tension, or mess up your stitch count,
which causes more frustration.
Maybe instead,
look through patterns books or go on line, until you are calm.
3. Do not choose a pattern that is beyond your skill level.
If the pattern is too hard for you, you may get upset, and quit. There is nothing wrong with being challenged, but if it's too hard, you just might give up.
There are literally thousands of patterns that are in each skill level. Move up to harder things when you feel are ready.
