The No Worry Monster And Lovey Blanket Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

The No Worry Monster And
 Lovey Blanket Crochet Pattern

By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

This Idea Came to me when my Friend was telling
me about her son going to camp for the first time.
He was afraid the kids would tease him
if He took his favorite stuffed animal with him.

I designed the

little stuffed "No

 Worry Monster"

 that is small

enough to hide

from his friends,

but might bring

 him some

comfort.

And If they do see it,

It's Just A Cute Silly Monster!

It  is designed using

Sweet Home Blanket Yarn by Red Heart Yarn

 Which is a Bulky (6)

So it is Fuzzy, Soft and Squishy.

I decided to call this Cute Monster a

"No Worry Monster", because in our conversation

his mom said, "I just wish he would stop worrying,

 and have fun."

Add The Safety eyes to the front of the Monster.
Thread you black yarn onto the needle and stitch
a V for a mouth on the face of your monster.
If you are giving this to a baby or child who might try to bite the eyes,
embroider the eyes on in place of the Safety Eyes.

Place the Front and the back together with the right sides out.
With C3, Join yarn to the right bottom corner of the Monster.
Sc evenly around the monster stitching the front and the back together.
Leave the bottom open for stuffing, but do not cut yarn.

Stuff your monster, then continue to sc crossed the bottom of the monster,
Join to the 1st sc, tie off and weave in the end.

Cut 1 piece of each of the 3 colors of yarn, 10 inches long.
Loop them on to the center of the top if the monster head.
