This is a Simple And Fun Crochet Pattern Applique.
It can be a Sunflower, Daisy, or any Flower you like, and made in any color of yarn you choose. And a fun way to use up that left over yarn!

You can hook them together for a fun Summer Scarf, Belt  or Headband.

Sunflower Applique Crochet Pattern
 Please Add This Crochet Pattern to your Raverly Favorites

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook: H / 5.00 MM
Yarn: Med (4) Small Amount of Red Heart Super Saver (2 colors)
           Center of Flower C1, Petals C2
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Double Crochet (dc)
Change to (chgto)

Size: 4 inches

Pattern:

R: 1 - Ch5, join in a circle, ch 3, 11 dc in the circle, 
join with a slst to the ch3. (12 dc)

R: 2 - Chgto c2, ch3, dc in the same st as ch 2, 
ch2, slst in the top of the dc, dc in the next dc, ch 2, slst in the same dc,

*slst in the next dc, dc in the same dc, ch2, slst in the top of the dc,
dc in the ext dc, ch3, slst in the same dc*

Repeat From * To * 4 more times, join to the 1st slst, tie off weave in your ends.
(6 Petals)

If you want to join them together, you can join at the 3rd petal of the last flower.
When you ch 2, join through the 3rd petal of the other flower, 
then slst in the dc. As Shown in the picture. And Complete the flower.

These Flowers are fun to add to just about anything.
Hats, scarf, cowls, bags and blankets.

it has cut fabric to make
 a pet bed. the needle and yarn to sew it closed. 
It has key chains and charms. Extra yarn to make a
 collar, bracelet and necklaces.

Sunflower Granny Square | Posh Pooch Designs

We decided to Show you how you can 
crochet the Sunflower Coaster and turn it into a Sunflower Crochet Square.
The Square can be a made into a bag, 
blanket, placemat, scarf 
or whatever you like.

Sunflower Granny Square Crochet Pattern
Please Add This Crochet Pattern To your Ravelry Favorites.

 Skill: Easy


Materials:
Crochet hook – H/ 5.00
Yarn –  Med (4) Acrylic - I used Vanna's Choice, Red heart super saver and I Love This yarn
            (C1  - Brown, C2- gold, C3 - Off White
Yarn needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double crochet (hdc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Change to (chgto)

Size: 10 X 10 Inches



We are going to take our Sunflower Coaster and make it into a Square
R: 1 – R: 4 - At This : LINK



R: 5 – Chgto C3, join yarn to the top of the first petal, ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2.
3dc, ch2, 3dc in the top of the next 3 petals.

*3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the top of the next petal,
3 dc, ch2 in the top of the next 3 petals*
Repeat From * to * 2 More times, join to the ch3 with a slst, slst to the ch3 sp.


R: 6 – Chgto Ch1, ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the ch3 sp,
3dc, ch2, 3dc in the top of the next 4 ch3 sps,
*3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the next ch3 sp,
3 dc, ch2 in the top of the next 4 ch3 sps*
Repeat From * to * 2 More times,
join to the ch3 with a slst, slst to the ch3 sp.


R: 7 - Chgto Ch2, ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the ch3 sp,
3dc, ch2, 3dc in the top of the next 5 ch3 sps,
*3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2 in the next ch3 sp,
3 dc, ch2 in the top of the next 5  ch3 sps*
Repeat From * to * 2 More times,
 join to the ch3 with a slst, slst to the ch3 sp.

Continue to repeat R: 7 until the Square is as large as you would like.
You will have 1 additional ch3 sp on each side, on each row.

R: 8 – Chgto C3, Ch1, *2 sc, in the corner,
sc evenly across placing a sc in each dc, and 2 sc in each ch2 sp,*
Repeat 3 More times, sc, and join to the 1st sc, tie of off and weave in your ends.

This is one of Classic Stitches that you can make 
lots of different projects.
Once you learn this stitch you will love it.
You will also learn the Foundation half Double crochet with this month's Washcloth of the month.

Block Stitch Washcloth Crochet Pattern

Please Ad This Crochet Patter To Your Raverly Favorites

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet hook – H / 5.00 MM
Yarn – med (4) Cotton 1 oz. each of 2 colors (C1, C2)
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Change to (chgto)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)
Foundation Half Double Crochet (FDHDC)

Size: 10 X 10 Inches
4 Sts = 1 inch
2 rows = 1 inch
Multiples - 4 + 3

Notes:
Ch1 Does not Count as a st.
Ch3 Counts as a ch3
When Changing Ch1/ Ch3 After the color change.
When changing colors do not cut your yarn, trail it up the side of the washcloth.

R: 1 – With C1, 30 FDHDC, turn, ch 1 (30 FDHDC)

R:2 – 1 sc in the 1st 2 sts, *ch3, sk 2 sts, sc in the next st*
Repeat From * to * 8 More times, sc in the last st, turn.
(4sc, 9 sets of ch3)

R: 3- Chgto C2, Ch3, 1 dc in the next sc, *3 dc in the next ch3 sp*
Repeat From * to * 8 More times, 1 dc in the last 2 sc,
Turn, Ch 1. (4dc, 9 sets of 3dc)

R: 4 – 1 sc in the 1st 2 dc, sc in the sp before the next 3dc set,
*ch3, sc between the next 2 sets of 3 dc sets*
Repeat From * to * 8 More Times, 1 sc in the last 2 dc,
Turn (4sc, 9 sets of ch3)

R: 5 – Chgto To C1, Repeat R: 3

R: 6 – Repeat R: 4

R: 7 – R: 20 – Repeat R: 3 and R: 4 alternating rows
and Changing colors every 2 rows.

R: 21 – Chg Colors, tie off the other colors and Repeat R: 4
Do not tie off.

Trim:
Turn, 1 hdc in each dc across, 3 hdc in the corner,
Evenly hdc around the other 3 sides of the washcloth,
placing 3 hdc in each corner,
Join to the 1st hdc, and tie off.
