This is a Simple And Fun Crochet Pattern Applique.
It can be a Sunflower, Daisy, or any Flower you like, and made in any color of yarn you choose. And a fun way to use up that left over yarn!

You can hook them together for a fun Summer Scarf, Belt  or Headband.

Sunflower Applique Crochet Pattern

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook: H / 5.00 MM
Yarn: Med (4) Small Amount of Red Heart Super Saver (2 colors)
           Center of Flower C1, Petals C2
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Double Crochet (dc)
Change to (chgto)

Size: 4 inches

Pattern:

R: 1 - Ch5, join in a circle, ch 3, 11 dc in the circle, 
join with a slst to the ch3. (12 dc)

R: 2 - Chgto c2, ch3, dc in the same st as ch 2, 
ch2, slst in the top of the dc, dc in the next dc, ch 2, slst in the same dc,

*slst in the next dc, dc in the same dc, ch2, slst in the top of the dc,
dc in the ext dc, ch3, slst in the same dc*

Repeat From * To * 4 more times, join to the 1st slst, tie off weave in your ends.
(6 Petals)

If you want to join them together, you can join at the 3rd petal of the last flower.
When you ch 2, join through the 3rd petal of the other flower, 
then slst in the dc. As Shown in the picture. And Complete the flower.

These Flowers are fun to add to just about anything.
Hats, scarf, cowls, bags and blankets.
