Veterans Lap Blanket Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs
Veterans Day Is November 11th
"Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11,
for honoring military veterans, that is, persons
who have served in the
United States Armed Forces."
One of the most used Style of blankets for
Our Veterans is the Lap Blanket or Lapghan.
It is a blanket that usually measures about
24 X 36 Inches. Although the size can vary depending
on the size of person.
It's purpose is to keep just the lap of the person
warm. Many people use wheel chairs, and we
want to be careful not make them too wide
or too long as to get caught in the wheels.
I designed this lap Blanket with Red, White,
and Blue yarn with The American Veteran in mind.
But You can use use any color or combination
of colors of yarn you prefer to stitch up this blanket.
