April Stitch of The Month - Alpine Stitch Washcloth | Posh Pooch Designs

April Stitch of The Month -
Alpine Stitch Washcloth
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

The Alpine Stitch is  stitched using Front Post Double
Crochet Stitches in a alternating Pattern. It makes a thick
textured pattern that makes a wonderful washcloth.
It can also be used for hats, scarves, bags, blankets,
ponchos and much more projects.

You can use any weight of yarn and any crochet hook to
stitch up the alpine Stitch Pattern. We are using cotton
yarn from Premier Yarns and an I . 5.50 mm size crochet
hook, because we are going to make a washcloth for
 Our practice project.

I Love The Alpine Stitch Pattern For This Washcloth.
It has a textured side that is perfect for washing dishes,
and can also be used as a regular washcloth. And it
is not too harsh for a face cloth.
