This is pillow is perfect for Airplane, train,
Car or any kind of Travel.

The Travel Neck Pillow is now designed in both 
Adult and Child Sizes, so everyone in your family
 will have comfortable trip.

It has a space for your neck, a pocket for your ear buds
 and a strap to hook it to your luggage. Although, we do 
suggest you leave off the strap on the Child's size,
as it might be unsafe for young children.

This One is Stitched up in Camo colors.

Choose whatever colors or combination of colors
 you prefer for this project.
And you will be cute and comfy on your next trip.

Skill - Easy

 

Materials:

Hook - H / 5.00

Yarn - Med (4) Acrylic (3.5 0z. variegated, 2 oz. solid)

Stuffing / Polyfiberfil  4 - 6 oz.

2 Med. buttons (1/2 to 1 inch)

 

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Single Crochet (sc)

Half Double Crochet (hdc)

 

Sizes: Child (Adult)

Small/ Child- 14 X 7inches

Large/ Adult / Youth -16 X 9 inches

 

Notes: Ch 1 does not count as a st.

Demo is the child Size 

 

Pattern:

Make 2 – Front and Back

 

R: 1 – Ch 41(51)1 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook,

 1 hdc in each ch, ch 1, turn. (40, 50 hdc)

 


R: 2 - 1 hdc in each hdc, ch 1, turn. (40, 50 hdc)

 


R: 3 – Child - R: 8 - Repeat R: 2

           Adult - R: 10 - Repeat R: 2

 


R: 11 - 1 hdc in the first 14 (17) sts, ch 1 turn

 


R: 12 – Child - R: 18 – Repeat R: 11, tie off

R: 12 – Adult - R: 20 - Repeat R: 11, tie off

 


Attach yarn to the opposite side of the pillow and repeat R: 11- R: 20,

 According to size you are making. tie off, Weave in your ends.

 


 Repeat R: 1 - R: 20 For The Size you are making

You need 2 - A Front And A Back



Sewing the Pillow together:

 

Put the 2 sides together, with right sides out, 

beginning at the left of center of the back, 




sew the pieces together by sc evenly spaced around the whole pillow, 

2 sc in each of the 6 corners,

leave a 5 inch space open, stuff with the fiber fill,

Close the hole with more scs, join, tie off, weave in your end. 

 


Ear Bud Pocket:

 

R: 1 - Ch 11, 1 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 

and in each ch across, ch1, turn. (10hdc)

 

R: 2 - 1 hdc in each hdc, ch1, turn

 

R: 3 - R: 7 - Repeat R: 2 

 

R: 8 - 1 hdc in the 1st 4 hdc, ch2, sk 2 sts, 1 hdc in the last 4 hdc,

tie off leaving a 24 inch piece of yarn for sewing pocket on pillow.

 


Place and sew pocket onto pillow, then Place and sew on Button.




 Strap:

 Omit this step for the child’s size – It could be a unsafe.

Ch 17, 1 dc in the end of the ch, ch2, skip the next 3 chs, 

1 slst in each ch back down the ch, tie off leaving  

12 inch strand of yarn. Attach strap to the inside lower 

corner of the pillow , then Sew the button to the opposite corner.



The Button tab is only intended to be used to
 attach the pillow to a bag, or your luggage,
or to be carried. Never attach the button
 tab across your neck.
