I Pulled out this Crochet Pattern from some designs 

I wrote about 15 years ago. It's easy and fun to stitch

 up for a Father's Day Gift. 

Make one in your Dad's Favorite colors.

I found this really fun Coffee To Go Cup at The Dollar Tree.

You can add a note and pictures to personalize it. 

It is the same size as most To Go cups you purchase

 at Coffee Shops.

And it's not Just For Father's Day.

 Make one for any one as a gift.

Add their name, a fun applique, 

button or leave it blank.

It's another great way to use of some left over yarns

and make something fun and useful.

Any Med (4) yarns will work for this pattern.

Get in Your yarn Scraps and have fun!

Dad, Moms And Everyone Will love Them. It will protect

 their hands from Hot Coffee and look cute doing it.

Skill:  Easy

 

Materials:

Crochet Hook - H / 5.00

Yarn – Med (40 Acrylic Small amount of 2 colors (C1, C2)

Yarn Needle

A To Go Coffee Cup

 

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Slip Stitch (slst)

Single Crochet (sc)

Half Double Crochet (hdc)

Change to (chgto)

Skip (sk)

Long Single Crochet (lsc) sc in the st in the row below.

Shell Stitch (shst) – 3 dc in the same st

 

Size:

Fit the average size to go Coffee cup

 

Notes:

Ch1 Does not count as a hdc

 

Pattern:

 

R: 1 – With C1, Ch 30, join in a circle

Hdc in each ch, join, ch 1 (30 hdc)

R: 2 – R: 4 - Hdc in each hdc, join, ch 1 (30 hdc)

R: 5 - 2 hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 9 sts, 

*2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in the next 4 sts*

 Repeat from * to * around, join, ch 1 (33 hdc)

R: 6 - Hdc in each hdc, join, ch 1 (33 hdc)

 

R: 7: Chgto C2, Ch 1, *sc in the next hdc, lsc in the next hdc*

Repeat from * to * around, 1 lhdc in the last hdc,  join to the 1^st sc, 

Tie off and weave in your ends.

 

Decoration Options:

Add Buttons, ribbons, patches of choice.

 

With C2, and Needle embroider the Word DAD 

on the front of the Coffee Cup sleeve.
