wonderful way to do just that!

It is designed for Both the guys and girls, and they

 will love wearing it. It's very stretchy and comfy to wear,

and if it's too warm, it can be tucked neatly inside 

a bag or backpack.

 Crochet Hook – H / 5.00 MM
Yarn- Med (4) Acrylic – Red heart Love
           (C1– 1 oz, C2 - .5 oz. , C3 - .5 oz.)
Yarn Needle
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Foundation Double Crochet (FDC)
Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC)
Change to (chgto)
 
Size: 4 X 20 Inches -Very stretchy

Fits 20 -24 inch head 
3 FDC = 1 inch
Multiples of 2 to adjust the size
 
Notes:
Ch3 Counts as a dc
Ch1 Does not Count as a st
Ch1/ Ch3 After the color change
 
R: 1 – With C1, 60 FDC, join to the ch3, ch 3 (60 FDC)

With Needle And yarn tail close the gap.

R: 2 - *FPDC in the next dc, dc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join to the ch3, ch 3 (30 dc, 30 FPDC)

R: 3 – *FPDC in the next FPDC, dc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join (30 dc, 30 FPDC)

R: 4 – Chgto C2, do not tie off C1, Ch1,
Sc in each st around, join to the 1 st sc, (60 sc)

 

R: 5 – Chgto To C3, Do Not tie off C1 or C2, Ch1,
Hdc in each sc around, join to the 1^st hdc, ch1 (60 hdc)

R: 6 – 1 hdc in each hdc around, join to the 1^st hdc (60 hdc)

R: 7 – Chgto C2, Tie off C3, ch1
1 sc in each hdc around, join to the 1^st sc (60 sc)

R: 8 - Chgto C1, tie off C2, ch3,
1 dc in each dc around, join to the ch3, ch 3 (60 dc)

R: 9 - *FPDC in the next dc, dc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join to the ch3, ch 3 (30 dc, 30 FPDC)
 
R: 10 - *FPDC in the next FPDC, dc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join, tie off, weave in your ends.
