I Designed This Crochet Pattern September 2014
and decided it as time to retest, update and
film a brand new video.

out what to make with it?
It's an absolutely beautiful yarn,
but hard to work with, right?
This yarn can be a little tricky to work with,
but this pattern is a snap!

Skill - Easy
Materials-
Hook- N- 9.00MM
Yarn - Homespun Lion Brand Bulky(5) 1.5 skeins (9 oz.)
I used Homespun color -Bourbon
Any (5) Bulky yarn can be used for this pattern.
Yarn needle to weave in ends.
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Double Crochet (dc)
Picot (ptst)
space (sp)
Size: 30 L. By 60 W. Inches
2 Chs = 1 inch,
1 row = 1 inch
Notes:
When working with this type of yarn, it is best to crochet loosely.
Ch4 at ends of rows counts a dc, ch1 on the next row.
Pattern:
R: 1 - Ch5, dc, ch1, dc in the 5th ch from the hook, ch4, turn (3dc)

R: 2 - 1 dc in the same st as the Ch4, ch1 dc in the next dc,
ch 1, dc, ch1, dc in the last dc, ch 4, turn (5 dc, 4 ch1)
R: 3 - 1 dc in the same st as the Ch4, ch1 dc in the next dc, 3 times,
dc, ch1, dc in the last dc, ch 4 , turn (7 dc, 6 ch1)
R: 4 - 1 dc in the same st as the Ch4, *ch1, dc in the next dc*,
Repeat From * to * across row, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, in the last dc,
ch4, turn (9 dc, 8 ch1)
R: 5 - 1 dc in the same st as the Ch4, *ch1, dc in the next dc*,
Repeat From * to * across row, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, in the last dc,
ch4, turn (11 dc, 10 ch1)
R: 6 - 1 dc in the same st as the Ch4, *ch1, dc in the next dc*,
Repeat From * to * across row, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, in the last dc,
ch4, turn (13 dc, 12 ch1)
R: 7 - R: 30 -- Repeat R:6 -
You should have 2 increases for each row.
Ch3 After R: 30 or your last row
If you want your Shawl to be bigger, continue to repeat
R: 6 until you have the desired size.
R: 31 - 1 dc in the 1st dc, 1 dc in the 1st ch1 space,
*1 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next ch1 space*
Repeat From * to * across row,
We will be working down the side of the shawl toward the point,
*evenly space 5 dc, 1 pc st* Repeat down the side of the shawl to
the point, then work up the other side of the shawl till you
reach the 1st dc,
Join and tie off. Weave in your ends.
All finished and ready to wear.
I really love this style of yarn. I know many do not.
And Struggle crocheting with it.
But I really like a challenge.
