5 Spice Sample Throw Blanket Crochet Pattern - Crochet A long
 
This pattern is designed using 5 different stitch patterns
 with 5 different colorways
of the Pioneer Woman Light (3) weight yarns. Plus, 
a Trim with a different crochet stitch pattern.

Step 1 - September 25 - Monday
Step 2 - September 26 - Tuesday
Step 3 - September 27 - Wednesday
Step 4 - September 28 - Thursday
Step 5 - September 29 - Friday
Trim - October 2 - Monday

Crochet Hook – H / 5.0 MM
Yarn – light (3) 1 Skein of Each of the colors listed above
             total Of 17.5 oz. / 1970 yds.
Yarn needle

Size: 36 X 48 inches
Add With By Multiples of 4 FDDC
Add Length by adding as many rows as you like.

Notes:

Ch3 Counts as a Dc at the beginning of each Row
Demo is stitched using 26 FFDC

Step 1 – Granny Stitch Pattern – C1 - Coral Stripes

Use stitch Marker to you keep your stitch count accurate


R: 2 – 1 dc in the next FDDC, *Ch2 Sk2 dc, 1 dc in the next 2 dc*
Repeat From * to * across row, turn, ch3 (56 dc, 27 ch2 = 110 sts)


R: 3 – 1 dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the ch2 sp,
*ch2, 2 dc in the next ch2 sp*
Repeat From * to * across row,
2 dc in the last ch2 sp, and 1 dc in the last 2 dc,
Turn, Ch3 (60 dc, 20 Ch2)



R: 4 – 1 dc in the next DC, *Ch2, 2 dc in the next ch2 sp*
Repeat From * to * across row, turn, ch3 (56 dc, 27 ch2 = 110 sts)



 
R: 5 – Repeat R: 3
 
R: 6 – Repeat R: 4
Do not ch3 after R: 6



Step 2 – Cross Stitch Pattern – C2 –Coral

R: 20 - 1 dc in the next dc, *sc in the next dc, tr in the next dc*

Repeat From * to * across, 1 dc in the last 2 dc (110 sts)


R: 21 - 1 dc in the next dc, *sc in the next tr, tr in the next sc*
Repeat From * to * across, 1 dc in the last 2 dc (110 sts)


Note: make sure you dc in the tr, tr in the dc

 

R: 22 - 1 dc in the next dc, *sc in the next dc, tr in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * across, 1 dc in the last 2 dc (110 sts)

Step 5 – Front Loop Back Loop Stitch Pattern – C5 – Teal Stripes

 R: 26 – BLO, 1 hdc in each dc across, turn, ch 3 (110 blo, hdc)


 R: 27 – Working In The 3rd loop, (see pic) 1 dc in each hdc across,
 turn, ch 2 (110 dc, 3rd loop)


You are working from the back of the blanket on this row

R: 28 - BLO, 1 hdc in each dc across, turn, ch 3 (110 blo, hdc)


R: 29 – Repeat R: 27
 
R: 30 – Repeat R: 28
Do not ch3 after R: 30



Repeat R: 1 - R: 3o For 2 More Times,
or more if a long blanket is needed.


Tipsy Granny Trim Crochet Pattern




Before we add the trim, we need to weave in all the ends.
Thread each yarn tail onto a needle and weave them in.
Trim off any leftover yarn strands.

Trim:

With Color of choice, hdc evenly on all 4 sides of the blanket, place 3 hdc in each of the 4 corners,


Join back to the 1st hdc with a slst, ch3
There is not a set number of sts needed.


2 dc in the same st as the ch3, sk 2 hdc, slst, ch 3 in the next hdc,
*2 hdc in the same st as the ch3, sk 2 hdc, slst, ch3 in the next hdc*
Repeat From * to * around all 4 sides of the blanket, to the first sc with slst,



Tie off weave in your ends. 


This Blanket is Folded in half to lay across the foot of the bed.
