Every year around this time  I try to design a fun
but quick Halloween hat crochet pattern. I asked
my grand kids what I should design this year
and they said a Mushroom hat.
I was like, really? And they showed me a pic of a
white mushroom with red spots. and Some of the
pics had different colors of Spots.
I think it's super adorable and so I designed one.

I designed the hat in the shape of a beret,
using super bulky (6) weight yarn, From Hobby Lobby
called Yarn Bee / True colors. so it will stitch up
super quick.  Three strands of med (4) weight yarn
 held together will just fine.

I wanted this hat to work up quick and be easy to
stitch up for a last minute Costume. Leave the spots off
and you you have fun beret that can be made in
any colors.
