Yes, you read the title right.
With This Crochet Pattern you can stitch up a
Chicken or Turkey Coaster.
Just by changing the yarn colors.
It's super easy!
We really had fun designing these coasters,
I just know you will have stitching them up.
Both are so cute and fun you will want to make a
bunch of both of them. They are stitched up using
medium (4)acrylic yarn, but if you prefer cotton,
that works also.
Acrylic yarns will still protect your surfaces,
and cotton will do that as well as absorb any moisture.
They make fun Christmas ornaments and
decorations as well.

Materials:
Crochet Hook – H / 5.00 mm.
Yarn – Med (4) Acrylic or Cotton – Small Amount of red, orange, black
For Chicken – Cream – 1 oz
For Turkey – light brown - .5 oz., Fall Variegated - .5 oz.
Yarn Needle
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Crochet Hook – H / 5.00 mm.

Size: 5.5 X 6 inches
Notes:
Ch1 Does Not Count as a st
Ch3 counts as a dc
Pattern:
R: 1 – R: 3 is stitched the same for both Chicken and Turkey,
use the appropriate yarn color.
R: 1 – With
Cream For Chicken, light brown For Turkey,
Ch 5, join in a circle, ch 3, 9 dc in the circle,
Join to the ch3 with a slst, ch 3 (10 dc)
Ch1 Does Not Count as a st

Chgto Variegated For the Turkey only,
slst in the next 3 sc, ch1
*5 dc in the next ch1 sp, ch1,

Repeat From * to * 3 more times, sc in the last sc,
Sc around the bottom of the turkey,
Join to the sc with a slst at the bottom of the head,
Tie off weave in the ends.

Repeat From * to * 3 more times, sc in the last sc,
Sc around the bottom of the turkey,
Join to the sc with a slst at the bottom of the head,
Tie off weave in the ends.
Comb – Omit For The Turkey -
Join red yarn to 1 sc at the back of the head,
Sc in the 1st 3 dc, 2 hdc in the next dc,
Tie off weave in your ends.
Wattles
- Join Red yarn to sc under the head, 2sc in the sc,
1 slst in the next 2 sc, tie off weave in the ends.
Beak – Join orange yarn to 4th dc on the head, ch 4
Slst in the 2nd and 3rd chs, sc in the 4th ch, join to the next dc,
Sc in the 1st 3 dc, 2 hdc in the next dc,
Tie off weave in your ends.
1 slst in the next 2 sc, tie off weave in the ends.
Slst in the 2nd and 3rd chs, sc in the 4th ch, join to the next dc,
Tie off,
weave in your ends.
Eye – Thread a 8 inch piece of
Black yarn in the needle,
Make a French knot or Straight stitch for the eye, tie off to the back.
