It is perfect for men, Women 
and boys and girls! 

It is Super Cute, Super fun and Super easy.
This Pattern has 3 sizes.
And is designed with worsted weight yarns.
We kept the details simple and 
no fancy stitch techniques,
 so you can stitch one up really fast.

Materials:
Crochet Hook: I
Yarn: Worsted Weight (4)
3 oz. Blue – C1,
3 oz. White - C2
2 oz. Red – C3
3 oz.  Yellow – C4
3 oz. Rust / Orange C4
Small Amount black
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Double Crochet (dc)
Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc)
Change (chg)

Size: Child: 16-17 inches (S)
         Youth: 18-20 inches (M)
         Adult: 21-22 inches (L)

Notes:
Rounds are joined with a sl st.
Ch2 does not count as a stitch

Pattern:
Child: 16 - 17 inch head
R: 1 - With C1, ch 3, 10 dc in the 3rd chain from the hook,
 Join with a slst (10dc)
R: 2 - ch 2, 2 dc in each dc, join (20dc)
R: 3 - ch 2, *2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join (30dc)
R: 4 - ch 2, *2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 2 dcs*
Repeat From * to * around, join (40dc)
R: 5 - Chg to C2 leaving C1 still attached,
ch 2, *2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dcs*
Repeat from * to * 2 times.
1 dc in each remaining dc around, join (42dc)
R: 6 - ch 2, 1 dc in each dc around, join (42)
R: 7 - Chg to C1, Repeat R: 6
R: 8 – Repeat R: 6, tie off C2
R: 9 – Chg to C4, Repeat R: 6
R: 10 – R: 12 - Repeat R: 6
R: 13 – Chg to C2, 1 sc in each dc, join, ch1
R: 14 – 1 sc in each sc, join, tie off weave in your ends.

Youth: 19 - 20 inch head

R: 6: ch 2, *2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 4 dcs*
Repeat From * to * 10 times, join (60dc)
R: 7 –Chg to C2, ch 2, 1 dc in each dc around, join (60dc)
R: 8 – I dc in each dc, join (60dc)
R: 9 – Chg to C1, Repeat R: 8

Fox Snout:
R: 1 - With Black yarn, ch 4, 
2 dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, turn. (3dc)
 (Ch3 counts as 1st dc)
R: 2 – Chg to C4, ch3, dc in same st as ch3, 
1 dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the last dc,
(5 dc)
R: 3 - ch3, dc in same st as ch3, 
1 dc in the next 3dc, 2 dc in the last dc,
(7 dc)
R: 4 - ch3, dc in same st as ch3,
 1 dc in the next 5dc, 2 dc in the last dc,
(9 dc)
For Size Small
sc around the 3 sides of the snout,
 place on front of hat and sew in place.

R: 5 - ch3, dc in same st as ch3,
 1 dc in the next 7dc, 2 dc in the last dc,
(11 dc)
For Size Medium
sc around the 3 sides of the snout, 
place on front of hat and sew in place.

R: 6 - ch3, dc in same st as ch3,
 1 dc in the next 9dc, 2 dc in the last dc,
(13 dc)
For Size Large
sc around the 3 sides of the snout, 
place on front of hat and sew in place.

Fox Eyes:
With Black yarn, ch4, join in a circle. 
8 sc in the circle join,
With a slst and tie off leaving a 12 in. tail of yarn.
Place on from of hat at the top corners
 of the snout, and sew in place.

Fox Ears:
Make 2 of C4 and 2 of C2 ear pieces
Ch 14, 1 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, 
count sts as 1st dc
Then dc, dc, dc, dc, hdc, hdc, hdc, sc, sc, sc, sc 
down the ch, turn,
Working down the opposite side of the ch,
Sc, sc, sc, sc, hdc, hdc, hdc, dc, dc, dc, dc, 
tie off weave in your ends.

Place a one C4 ear piece and a C2 ear piece together,
 right sides out, stitching through both ears,
With C4, sc in the next 11 sts, ch 2, then sc in
 the next 11 sts, sc across the bottom of the ear.
Tie off leaving a 12 in. tail of yarn.
Place one ear on each side of the snood. Sew in place.



Colorado applique
With C3, Ch 5, 9 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, join with a sl st,
(10hdc)
Change to C4, ch 3, 1 sc in the same st, 2 sc in next 7 sc tie off.
Weave in your ends.
Place on front of hat and sew into place with matching yarn.

Pom Pom
With all four colors of yarn, wrap around your
 four middle fingers about 25 to 30 times,
 With a white 12 inch piece of yarn, 
slide it through the bundle of yarn and tie tightly.
Cut the pompom to even it up.
And attach to the top of the hat with
 the two long strands of yarn.
