For Size Small –
sc around the
3 sides of the snout,
place on front of hat and sew in place.
R: 5 - ch3,

For Size Medium –
sc around the
3 sides of the snout,
place on front of hat and sew in place.
R: 6 - ch3,
dc in same st as ch3,
1 dc in the next 9dc, 2 dc in the last dc,

For Size Large –
sc around the
3 sides of the snout,
place on front of hat and sew in place.
Fox Eyes:
With Black
yarn, ch4, join in a circle.
8 sc in the circle join,
With a slst
and tie off leaving a 12 in. tail of yarn.
Place on
from of hat at the top corners
of the snout, and sew in place.
Fox Ears:
Make 2 of C4 and 2 of C2 ear pieces
Ch 14, 1 dc in the 4th ch
from the hook,
count sts as 1st dc
Then dc, dc, dc, dc, hdc, hdc, hdc, sc, sc, sc, sc
down the ch, turn,
Working down the opposite
side of the ch,
Sc, sc, sc, sc, hdc, hdc, hdc, dc, dc, dc, dc,
tie off
weave in your ends.

Place a one C4 ear piece and a C2 ear piece together,
right sides out, stitching through both ears,
With C4, sc in the next 11 sts, ch 2, then sc in
the
next 11 sts, sc across the bottom of the ear.
Tie off leaving a 12 in. tail of yarn.
Place one ear on each side of the snood. Sew in place.
Colorado
applique
With C3, Ch
5, 9 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, join with a sl st,
(10hdc)
Change to
C4, ch 3, 1 sc in the same st, 2 sc in next 7 sc tie off.
Weave in
your ends.
Place on
front of hat and sew into place with matching yarn.
Pom
Pom
With all
four colors of yarn, wrap around your
four middle fingers about 25 to 30 times,
With a white 12 inch piece of yarn,
slide it
through the bundle of yarn and tie tightly.
Cut the
pompom to even it up.
And attach
to the top of the hat with
the two long strands of yarn.
