Skill: Easy

Materials:

For 8 X 8 Inch Doily 
  Crochet Hook – H/ 5.00 MM

  Yarn – Worsted Weight (4) or Cotton Yarn

              Small amount/ Color your Choice
For 10 X 10 Inch Doily
  Crochet Hook - J/ 6.00MM
  Yarn- Worsted  - Weight (5)

Yarn Needle

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Single Crochet (sc)

Double Crochet (dc)

Triple Crochet (tr)

Slip Stitch (slst)

Space (sp)

Size: 8 X 8 Inches, 10 X 10 inches

Notes:
The instruction re the same for both heart sizes

Rounds are joined with a Slip Stitch

Ch3 counts as a double Crochet

Ch4 counts as a Triple Stitch

R: 1 – Ch5, join in a circle,

Ch4 (counts as a dc, ch1) *dc, ch1*

Repeat From * to * 9 more times, join (11 sets of dc, ch1)

R: 2 – ch3 in the 1^st ch1 sp, 1 dc in the same sp, ch1,

*2 dc, ch1 in the next ch1 sp*

Repeat From * to * 9 more times, join to the top of the ch3.

Slst to the next ch1 sp.

(11 sets of 2dc, ch1)

R: 3 – ch3 in the 1^st ch 1 sp, 2 dc in the same sp, ch1,

*3 dc, ch1 in the next ch1 sp*

Repeat From * to * 9 more times, join to the top of the ch3.

Slst to the next ch1 sp.

(11 sets of 3dc, ch1)

R: 4 – Ch3 in the 1^st ch1 sp, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in the same ch1 sp,

Ch 1, 2 sc in the next ch1 sp, ch1,
3dc, ch2, 3dc in the next ch1 sp, Ch2,

*3dc, ch2 in the next ch1 sp*

Repeat From * to * 7 more times, ch2, join to top of ch 3,

Slst to next ch1 sp.

R: 5 – Ch4, 5 tr in the same ch2 sp, ch2,
1 sc in the next ch2 sp,

1sc in the sp between the next 2 sc,  ch2,
1 sc in the next ch2 sp,

6 tr in the next ch2 sp, ch2,

5 tr in he next ch2 sp, ch2,

3 dc, ch2 in the next 3 ch2 sps,

7 tr in the next ch2 sp, ch2,

3 dc, ch2 in the next 3 ch2 sps,

5 tr in he next ch2 sp, ch2, join to the top of the ch1.

R: 6 – You are basically stitching a sc edge around the heart - 
1 sc in the next 6tr, 2 sc in the ch2 sp,

1 sc in the next 3 sc, 2 sc in the next ch2 sp,

1 sc in the next 6 tr, 2 sc in the ch2 sp,

1 sc in the next 5 tr, 2 sc in the ch2 sp,

*1 sc in next 3 dc, 2 sc in next ch2 sp*

Repeat From * to * 2 more times,

1 sc in the next 7 tr,

*1 sc in next 3 dc, 2 sc in next ch2 sp*

Repeat From * to * 2 more times,

1 sc in the next 5 tr, ch2, join to top of ch 4.

R: 7 – Lacy Trim - *Ch3, sk the next st, slst in the next st*

Repeat From * to * all around the heart, join to 1^st slst,

Tie off weave in your ends.
