Today's Question:
Headband or Ear Warmer, What's the difference?
Many designers, crochet,knit or others,
often use these terms synonymously.
Which means they use them for
either one.
They think there is no real difference,
but there actually is.
What's a Headband?
Any band, made of many different fibers, you wraparound your head for holding
your hair, keeping off sweat,
or for decoration that is
Up to 3 inches wide.
What's an Ear Warmer?
This is a headband that is used to keep
your ears warm in cold weather.
It is usually made of yarn,
can be knit or crocheted
That is Larger Then 3 inches.
Usually about 4.5 to 5 inches, but can be wider.
So I guess, all Ear Warmers are headbands,
but not all headbands are ear warmers.
