It's a Great way to use up some of your scrap yarns.
Any WW (4) yarn can be used for these Squares.

Snowman Square And Scarf Crochet Pattern
Skill: Easy
Materials:
Crochet
Hook – H / 5.00MM
Yarn- Worsted Weight (4) I used several
different yarns –
White, C1, C2 - Your Choice of Colors
Caron Party, I Love This yarn Sparkle/ Metallic, Red Heart with Love
Metallic,
Red heart Supersaver
Yarn Needle
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)
Change to (chto)
Single Crochet Together (sctog)
Size: 7 X 7 Inch Square
Notes:
Rounds are joined to the ch3 with a slst.
Ch3 counts as dc
When changing colors, ch 3 / ch1 after the
color change.
Square:
R: 1 – With White yarn, Ch 5, join in a circle,
ch3,
11 dc in the ch 5 circle, join, ch 3
11 dc in the ch 5 circle, join, ch 3
(12 dc)
R: 2 - Dc in the same st as ch3, 2 dc in each
dc around, join, ch 3
(24 dc)
R: 3 - Dc in the same st as ch3, 2 dc in each
dc around, join.
(48 dc)
R: 4 – Chgto C2, ch3, 1dc, ch1, 2dc, ch1 in
the same st as the ch3,
(Sk next 2 sts, 2dc, ch1 in the next st) 3
times,
*sk next 2 sts, 2dc, ch1, 2dc, ch1 in the next
st
(Sk next 2 sts, 2dc, ch1 in the next st) 3
times, *
Repeat From * to * 2 more times, join to ch3,
Slst to the next ch1 sp.
(4 sets of corner and 3 dc cluster)
R: 5 - Ch3, 1dc, ch1, 2dc, ch1 in the same sp
as the ch3,
(2dc, ch1 in the next ch1 sp) 4 times,
*sk next ch1 sp, 2dc, ch1, 2dc, ch1 in the
next ch1 sp,
(2dc, ch1 in the next ch1 sp) 4 times, *
Repeat From * to * 2 more times, join to ch3,
Slst to the next ch1 sp.
(4 sets of corner and 4 dc cluster)
R: 6 – Chgto C2, ch1, 2sc, ch1 2sc in the same
ch2 sp,
Sc in each dc, and ch 1 space,
*2sc, ch1, 2sc in the next corner ch1 sp,
Sc in each dc, and ch 1 space*
Repeat from * to * 2 more times, join to 1st
sc with slst,
Tie off and weave in your ends.
Hat:
R: 7 - Decide which side you want to be the
top of the Square.
Join C2 to the dc after the 2nd
cluster with a ch1,
Sc in the same dc, and in the next 9 dc,
working around the clusters.
turn, ch1.(10sc)
R: 8 – 1 sc in each sc, turn, ch1
R: 9 – *Sctog the next 2 sc*
Repeat From* to * 4 more times,
Turn, ch 1 (5 sts)
R: 10 – 1 sc in each sc, tie off leaving a 12
inch tail of yarn.
(5sc)
Fold the hat up towards the corner.
Use the tail of yarn to sew the hat in place.
Little Pompom:
Cut a 10- 12 inch piece of yarn.
Cut a 10- 12 inch piece of yarn.
Wrap the yarn around your four fingers 10 -12 times.
Lay the loops across the string and tie the string securely.
Trim loops evenly to form the pom pom.
Nose:
With Orange, Ch 4, 2 dc in the 4th ch
from the hook,
ch1, turn, slst in the next 3 sts,
tie off leaving a 10 - 12 inch tail of yarn for sewing
nose on face.
Eyes and Smile:
Embroider on eyes and smile with black yarn according
to the picture,
using long stitches.
Weave in your ends being careful not to show the black
yarn
through the White yarn.
Joining The Squares To Form A Scarf:
You will need 10 Squares For a 70 inch scarf.
You will need 10 Squares For a 70 inch scarf.
Place the
Squares together, back side facing out.
Using the Outside loops, sew the Squares together,
*slst, ch1, sk1* Repeat From * to * Across, tie off weave in your ends.

Sew 5 squares together, then the next 5..
sew the 2 5 square sections together so they are facing forward.
