Dealing With Crochet Discouragement
I received several messages, emails and comments from People who crocheted a gift for someone, and it wasn't received well.
The Crocheter/ Giver was so hurt and discouraged.
This has happened to me, and I want to help you through it
.
1. Most people who do not craft, do not understand how
much thought and emotion goes into deciding what
the time and energy it takes to make something.
3. Most people who do not craft, do not understand
that we put ourselves, and our heart,
into everything we make.
we put so much of ourselves into
everything we make,
Most people who
do not craft,
Most people who
do not craft,
do not understand how
much it hurts when
the item is not
much it hurts when
the item is not
loved and appreciated.
But.....We Know.
That is why it is so important to encourage each
other.
If a gift is not received well, make a note not to make
that person anything.
But... Don't stop giving.
There are many who would love and appreciate it the
things we make.
things we make.
Hospitals, Adult and Children's Cancer Charities.
Rescue Centers and Homeless Rescues.
Many, Many Causes and Charities.
