This Stitch Pattern is fun to stitch up. It Looks 

complicated, but it is not at all.

It's basically Single Crochet Stitches and Chain Stitches.

You Can Do This!

The Cable Loops Stich pattern can be used for lots

 of different projects. Hats, bags, scarves, cowls

 placemats, coasters and even blankets.

Stitch Of The Month – Cable Loops Stitch Crochet Pattern

Skill: Easy 
 
Materials:
Crochet Hook – H/ 5.00 MM
Yarn – Med (4) And Fiber or blend (2 or more colors – C1, C2…)
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Change to (chgto)
 
Multiples – 4 + 1
 
Swatch – 9 X 8 inches

 
Notes: Ch 1 does not count as sc
 
R: 1 – With C1, Ch 25, 1 sc in the 2nc ch, 

and in each ch across, turn, ch 1 (24 sc)
 

R: 2 – R: 3 – 1 sc in each sc cross, turn, ch 1 (24sc)
 

R: 4 – 1 sc in the 1^st 4 sc, *ch12, 1 sc in the next 4 sc*
Repeat From * to * 4 more times, turn, ch 1 (24 sc, 5 ch12)
 

R: 5 – With C2, 1 sc in each sc, turn, ch 1
 

R: 6 – R: 7 - 1 sc in each sc, turn, ch 1
 

R: 8 - 1 sc in the 1^st 4 sc, *ch12, 1 sc in the next 4 sc*
Repeat From * to * 4 more times, turn, ch 1 (24 sc, 5 ch12)
 

R: 9 – R: 12 - Repeat R: 5 - R: 8 

R: 13 - R: 24 - Repeat R: 5 – R: 8 – 3 More Times,
Changing colors as many times as you would like.
 
R: 25 - - R: 26– 1 sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (24sc)
Loop All the loops together by working from the bottom row to the top.

R: 27 – *1 sc in the next 3 sc,
sc in the next sc looping though the ch12 loop*
1 sc in the last 4 sc, ch1 (24sc)
 

Now, let’s make our swatch into a Pot Holder / Hot pad.
 
R: 28 – Sc in each sc across, 3 sc in the corner,
evenly sc down the side, across the bottom, and up the other side,
placing 3 sc in each corner,
join to the 1 sy sc, ch12, join to the 1^st sc, tie off and weave in your ends.
