Hot Pads And Pot Holders
Crochet Pattern Collection
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs
I have put together a Crochet Pattern Collection
of Hot Pad and Pot holders I think you will
enjoy stitching up. Each Crochet pattern also
has a video tutorial.
If you are making them for decorations
acrylic yarn is just fine.
But, if you are making them to actually use for putting
hot dishes or pans on, make them with cotton yarn.
To make them even more safe from burning,
make them double thick, by making 2 or 3 layers
and stitching them together.
It is the Link where the crochet Pattern and
Video is located.
What's the difference between a Pot Holder
and a Hot pad.
Traditionally a Pot Holder was used to protect counter
or table surfaces from a hot dish or pot.
A Hot Pad was used to protect Your hands when a hot dish
or pot was removed from the oven.
But in resent years the terms have been used for both uses.
