The Slice of Pumpkin Pie Coaster is so cute and "tasty".

Perfect for November family and friend get togethers. 

They would make an adorable gift in a set of 4.

It's a wonderful party favor, give every guest one

 to place their drink on, and then tell them to take 

it home as a gift to remember the great time 

they had.

I decided to make this coaster out of 100% 

cotton yarn. if you want to use acrylic that's fine also.

It's really up to you and what you prefer.

They measure a bout 5 X 5 inches so they are the right

 size for glasses of cold eggnog and big mugs of hot cocoa.

Crochet Hook – H / 5.00 MM.
Yarn – Med (4) Cotton C1 - Auburn Clay, Craft Secret – 1 oz.
                                         C2 - Peaches and Creme / Oasis - .5 oz.
Yarn Needle
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
Change to (chgto)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)
 
Size: 5 X 5 Inches
 
Notes:
Ch1 Does not count as a st
 
Pattern:
 
R: 1 – With C1, ch 2, 3 sc in the 2^nd ch from the hook,
turn ch1, (3 sc)
 
R: 2 – 2 sc in the 1^st sc, sc in the next, 2 sc in the next sc,
turn, ch 1 (5 sc)

R: 3 – 1 sc in each sc, turn, ch 1 (5 sc)
 
R: 4 – 2 sc in the 1^st sc, 1 sc in the next 3 sc, 2 sc in the last sc,
Turn, Ch1 (7 sc)

R: 5 - 1 sc in each sc, turn, ch 1 (7 sc)
 
R: 6 -   2 sc in the 1^st sc, 1 sc in the next 5 sc, 2 sc in the last sc,
Turn, Ch1 (9 sc)

R: 7 - 1 sc in each sc, turn, ch 1 (9 sc)
 
R: 8 - 2 sc in the 1^st sc, 1 sc in the next 7 sc, 2 sc in the last sc,
Turn, Ch1 (11 sc)

R: 9 - 1 sc in each sc, turn, ch 1 (11 sc)
 
R: 10 - 2 sc in the 1^st sc, 1 sc in the next 9 sc, 2 sc in the last sc,
Turn, Ch1 (13 sc)
 
R: 11 - 1 sc in each sc, turn, ch 1 (13 sc)
 
R: 12 – 2 sc in the 1^st sc, 1 sc in the next 11 sc, 2 sc in the last sc,
Turn, Ch1 (15 sc)

R: 13 – R: 15 - 1 sc in each sc (15 sc)

Evenly sc down the side of the pie slice, sc, ch1, sc in the point,
Evenly sc up the next side of the pie.

R: 16 – Chgto to C2, Working across the top edge of the pie slice,
 *sc in the 1 ^st sc, sk the next sc, 2hdc, ch1, 2hdc in the next st, sk the next sc*
Repeat from * to * 3 more times, turn, ch1
(4 shst, 4 sc)

R: 17 –sc in the 1st sc

 *4 hdc in the ch1 sp, sc in the next sc*
Repeat From * to * 3 more times, tie off and weave in your ends.

Whipped Cream -

Ch2, 6 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook.

*ch4, sls in the FLO next sc*

Repeat From * to st around,

join to the 1st sc, tie off leaving a 

8 inch tail of yarn to attach to the pie.

Push the "petals" up to look like whipped topping.

Place on the point of the pie and sew in place,

 weave in the end.
