Beginner - Projects for first-time crocheters using basic
stitches and techniques. Minimal shaping.
( For Example - slip stitches, Single Crochet, Double Crochet, half Double Crochet)
Easy - Projects using basic stitches and techniques,
repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes,
and
some shaping.
(For Example - Front post and Back post stitches, Front loop and Back Loop Stitches)
Intermediate - Projects using a
variety of stitches and
techniques, multiple color changes, And more advanced
shaping, finishing techniques.
(For Example -cables, tapestry, Tunisian)
Experienced - Projects using
intricate stitch patterns,
,
techniques and textures. Multiple color changes,
fine threads, small hooks, detailed shaping and finishing.
( Intricate lace work, difficult placement of stitches)
This is the standard among most crochet designers,
but there is some " wiggle room" on the part of
crochet pattern designers.
