The December Christmas Coffee Cup. 

I wanted it to remind us of a Hot Cocoa Mug 

filled with hot chocolate, topped with whip cream 

and a candy cane. 

YUM! YUM!

I really love this Cute and Festive Coffee Cup. 

It says come have a cup of cocoa with me.

This is our last Coffee Cup in our 2025 

Crochet Along. It has been so much fun designing these

Once we finish the year we will have 12 fun

 cups to use as magnets or appliques. 

This is just so much fun.

 

The 2025 Year Long Crochet 

We are making a Home Wall Hanging and we are

 also making an applique for each month to add to it.

The Applique is also a magnet that you can put on

 your refrigerator.  That way if you really do not want

 to make the Wal hanging, You can still participate

 by making the monthly applique / Magnets.

Materials:
Crochet hook – H / 5mm.
Yarn- Med (4) Acrylic C1- green- .5 oz.
                       C2- Small Amount of red
                       C3 - Small Amount of white
Yarn Needle
Sticky Back Felt
A Magnet or Large Pin
Hot Glue and Glue gun
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Change to (chgto)

Front Loop Only (FLO)
 
Size: 3 X 4 inches
 
Notes:
Ch1 does not count as a st

Pattern:

 R: 1- With C1 - Ch2, 3 sc in the 2^nd ch from the hook,
Turn, ch 1 (3sc)
 
R: 2 – 2sc in the 1^st sc, sc in the next sc, 2 sc in the last sc,
Turn, ch 1 (5sc)

 R: 3 – 2sc in the 1^st sc, sc in the next 3sc, 2 sc in the last sc,
Turn, ch 1 (7sc)
 
R: 4 - 2sc in the 1^st sc, sc in the next 5sc, 2 sc in the last sc,
Turn, ch 1 (9sc)

 R: 5 – 1 sc in each sc across, turn, ch 1 (9sc)

R: 6- R: 8 – Repeat R: 5
 

 R: 9 - Sc evenly, Turn working down the side, 

around the bottom,
Up the other side of the cup, slst in the 1^st sc, ch1
 
 Turn back down the side, slst in the 1^st sc, ch5, sk 4 sc,
Slst in the next sc, 6 sc in the ch5 sp of the cup handle,
Join to the 1^st sc

R: 10 – Chgto C2, tie off C1,
sc across the top of the cup, turn (9 sc)
 
R: 11 – Chgto C3, Tie off c2,
FLO, Slst in the 1^st sc, sc in the next st,

Sc in the next st, 
Hdc in the next st, 

Dc in the next st,
Dc, ch 4, slst in the dc,
Dc in the next st, 

Hdc in the next st,
Sc in the next st, 

Slst in the next st,
Tie off weave in the ends.
 
Snowflake – With needle and C3, 

stitch the snowflake on the center
Of the cup as show In the photo.

Candy Cane – Holder C2, and Color 3 together, ch 10, tie off
Place the candy cane on the cup, curled of the top of the cup,
 As shown in the photo. Attach securely in the back.
 
Cut and attach the Stitcky felt  to the back of the cup.
 
Glue on the magnet or attach the pin.
