Lady Edith's Butterfly Scarf Crochet Pattern - Posh Pooch Designs

Lady Edith's Butterfly Scarf
Crochet Pattern by Sara Sach of
This light and lacy butterfly scarf was inspired by
Lady Edith, of Downton Abbey,
and how marvelous she looks in Green.

I always felt she was the beauty of the 3 girls.
She was always over looked, and under appreciated.
She is Elegant, yet simple.
Quiet, yet Strong.
Although the name of the Yarn is
 this shade of green,
suits Lady Edith much better, then Lady Sybil.
in my opinion.

Swimming Is As Fun As Crocheting! | Posh Pooch Designs

I have Started a new Adventure.
Swimming.
I was already doing water Aerobics,
but felt I needed to
shake up my routine a bit.
So I started swimming laps,
and even took a swimming lesson.
I am  a little "floppy"  and Uncoordinated.
I am still working on form, my breathing and such.
 But I really love it.
And I am really rocking those pink Goggles!
I have found being in the water healing.
There have been studies to show that people with
Autism, ADHD, Arthritis, and Hashimotos,  to
greatly benefit from being in the water.
The benefits of swimming are awesome.
1. It tones your muscles.
2. It builds bone density.
3. It keeps you flexible.
4. It helps to reduce inflammation.
5. It burns a bunch of Calories.
6. It lowers Stress
7. People who swim, sleep better
But it does dry out your skin.
Be sure to lotion up after every swim.
If you know me,
You know I love to crochet,
knit and all things yarny,
and now I have another love,
 Swimming.
I would crochet and swim at the same time,
but the yarn would get wet!

How to Sharpie and Bake a Coffee Mug | Posh Pooch Designs

It is really easy and super fun.
We have a Crochet get together that we call
"Ch1, Sip 1"
It is a group of fun ladies who love
to Crochet and love to sip Coffee.
I made each of them a Mug.

See a Video on my Youtube Channel
at this LINK

Here is how I did it:
1. Preheated the Oven to 350 degrees.
2. While the oven was heating,
I decorated each much with my sharpies.
I wrote the name of our group,
a yarn ball and yarn,
and a little paw print on each mug.
Then went back and colored each
yarn ball a different color.
3. I baked them for 30 minutes.
They do not have to be on a tray.
It just makes it easier to put them in
and take them out of the oven.
Baking the Sharpie onto the Mug
makes it dish washer safe and permanent.
4. While the mugs were cooling,
I printed off some fun tags.
I stamped some paw prints across each one.
And then, I Punched a hole and
cut some pieces of yarn.
5. I tied the tag on the handle.
I put a little Cappuccino package in each one.
And Grabbed a new snack to try.
and headed to my Ch1, Sip 1 group.

I kept the yellow one for myself,
since yellow is my favorite collar.

I purchased the mugs at a restaurant supply store.
Any ceramic mug will work.
I had fun making these mugs,
and fun giving them to the sweet ladies of our group.

Maximo looking dapper in the
new Beaded Bandanna
Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach of

I have been wanting to design a Beaded Bandanna
 crochet pattern for a while.
I picked it up a few time, but would set it down.
I was looking through some of my left
over yarns in my yarn ball basket.

I can across This yarn, saw the Sparkle and thought,
"this is the perfect yarn for this project".
I believe the yarn  is Simply Soft Party ,
although I no longer have the wrapper.

Small Mesh Drawstring Bag Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Small Mesh Drawstring Bag Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

This Bag measures
12 inches long by 18 inches around.

I made this bag for me.
I needed a bag to carry my
Flip Flops, Swim cap, goggles and swim gloves.
I can toss my gear in it, then
I can toss it in my gym bag.
I wanted it to be mesh so I could take
it out of my gym bag and hang it up to dry,
when I get home.
I designed it to have a draw string,
easy to open and close,
even when the bag is wet.

Channel at This LINK
