Back To Crochet Basics - Lesson 11 - 
Back Post Double Crochet

In Our last lesson, Lesson 10, we learned to Crochet a
 Front Post Double Crochet.
Today's Lesson we are learning the Back Post Double Crochet.
And how to use them together  for a fun technique.

Lesson Portion:
What You need
Crochet Hook - H / 5.00 MM
Yarn - Cotton Yarn
(any 4 weight cotton will work)


Practice Project Portion 
A Little Cotton Washcloth Crochet Pattern By Sara Sach

Skill: Intermediate 

Materials:
Crochet Hook - H/ 5.00 MM
Yarn - Cotton yarn (4) 1 oz any color of your choice.
Yarn needle
Scissors

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc)
Back Post Double Crochet (bpdc)

Size:
4 X 4 inches
The perfect size to wash your face 
and remove your make up.

Notes:
 Ch 3 counts as a dc

R: 1 - Ch 16, 1 dc in the 4th ch from the hook,
 (1st 3 chs count as a dc)
1 dc in each ch across, turn, ch 3. (14 dc)

R: 2 - 1 dc in the next dc, 
*fpdc in the next 2 dc, bpdc in the next 2 dc*
Repeat From * to * 1 more time, 
1 fpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the last 2 sts,
ch 3, turn.
(14 sts)

R: 3 -  1 dc in the next dc, 
*bpdc in the next 2 sts, fpdc in the next 2 sts*
Repeat From * to * 1 more time, 
1 bpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the last 2 sts,
ch 3, turn.
(14 sts)

Now We Will Do the Opposite of what we have been doing.

R: 4 - 1 dc in the next dc, 
*bpdc in the next 2 sts, fpdc in the next 2 sts*
Repeat From * to * 1 more time, 
1 bpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the last 2 sts,
ch 3, turn.
(14 sts)

R: 5 - 1 dc in the next dc, 
*fpdc in the next 2 sts, bpdc in the next 2 sts*
Repeat From * to * 1 more time, 
1 fpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the last 2 sts,
ch 3, turn.
(14 sts)

Again, We Will Do the Opposite of what we have been doing.

R: 6 - 1 dc in the next dc, 
*fpdc in the next 2 sts, bpdc in the next 2 sts*
Repeat From * to * 1 more time, 
1 fpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the last 2 sts,
ch 3, turn.
(14 sts)

R: 7 - 1 dc in the next dc, 
*bpdc in the next 2 sts, fpdc in the next 2 sts*
Repeat From * to * 1 more time,
 1 bpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the last 2 sts,
ch 1, turn.
14 sts)

R: 8 - sc evenly around the 4 sides of the wash cloth,
 place 2 sc in each corner. join to the 1st sc with a slst,
 ch 10 to make a loop, join to the 1st sc, 
tie off, weave in your ends.
