Granny Flower Baby Bonnet
 Crochet Pattern

This Granny Flower Baby Bonnet is a old Pattern that
 we decided to retest, update with new Pictures
 and a Brand new Video.

The New Pattern includes 4 Sizes: Newborn to 3 Months,
 6 Months, 9 Months, and 12 Months.
Remember not all babies heads are the same size,
 so keep that in mind when stitches up one
 of the adorable bonnets.

Granny Flower Baby Bonnet Crochet Pattern

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook – H / 5.00MM
Yarn- Med (4) Acrylic - 2 - 3 OZ. depending on size
           ( I used Baby Cakes/ Caron Yarnspirations)
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Back Loop Only (BLO)
Front Loop Only (FLO)
Change to (chgto)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)

Size:
New born - 3 Month – 12 inches
6 Month – 14 Inches
9 Months - 16 Inches
12 Month – 18 Inches

Notes:
Ch3 Counts as a dc
Rounds are joined to the ch3 with a slst.

Pattern:
Make 2 Squares

R: 1 – With C1, Ch5, join in a circle, ch3, 11 dc in the circle, join, (12dc)

R: 2 – Slst between the next 2 dc, 2 dc,
 *2 dc between the next 2 dc*
Repeat From * To * around, join, (24 dc)

R: 3 – FLO, ch2, dc in the 1st dc,
Dc, ch 2, slst in the next dc,
*slst, ch2, dc in the next dc, dc, ch2, slst in the next dc*
Repeat From * To* 10 More times, join to the 1st slst, (12 flower petals)


R: 4 – BLO, slst to next dc, 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1, sk the next 2 dc,
3dc in the next dc, ch1
*Sk the next 2dc, 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1 in the next dc,
sk the next 2 dc, 3dc in the next dc, ch1*
Repeat 2 more times, join, slst to the ch2 sp
(4 corners – 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1, And 4 sides – 3dc, ch1

R: 5 – 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1 in the 1st ch2 sp,
 3dc, ch1 in the next 2 ch1 sps,
*3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1 in the next ch2 sp,
 3dc, ch1 in the next 2 ch1 sps*
Repeat 2 More times, join to the ch3, slst to the ch2 sp.
(4 corners – 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1, And 4 sides with 2 sets of 3dc, ch1)

For newborn to 3 Months Skip To R: 9

R: 6 – Repeat R: 5
(4 corners – 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1, And 4 sides with 3 sets of 3dc, ch1)
(For 6 Months Skip To R: 9

R: 7 – Repeat R: 5
(4 corners – 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1, And 4 sides with 4 sets of 3dc, ch1)
(For 9 Months Skip To R: 9


R: 8 – Repeat R: 5
(4 corners – 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1, And 4 sides with 5 sets of 3dc, ch1)
(For 12 Months)


R: 9 – For All Sizes
*2sc, ch1, 2sc in the ch2 sp, 1 sc in each dc and ch1 sp across*
Repeat From * To * 3 More Times, join to 1st sc, tie off.
Weave in Your ends.

Remember to make 2 squares.

Place the 1 Squares together, right sides out. Attach yarn and sc the sides together.
 tie off and weave in the ends.

Bonnet Trim And Ties:
Attach yarn to the bottom front left side, 
*sc in the next 2 sts, 2sctog int he next 2 sts* Repeat From * to * the bottom edge of the bonnet til you reach the bottom right edge of the bonnet, 

ch 26, dc in the 3rd ch and slst in each ch back up and join to the bonnet,

Working back across the the front edge of the bonnet, 
*sc in the 1st st, sc, pct in the next st* Repeat From * to * across the front edge of the bonnet,

ch 26, dc in the 3rd ch and slst in each ch back up and join to the bonnet,

*sc in the next 2 sts, 2sctog int he next 2 sts* Repeat From * to * the bottom edge of the bonnet til you reach the bottom right edge of the bonnet, tie off weave in your ends.
