Crochet Hook - N / 10.00MM
Yarn - Go For Faux Duo By Lion Brand Yarns
           C1 - Bulky (6) – Acrylic 3.5 oz.
           C2 - Bulky (7) – Faux Fur 3.5 oz.
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC)
Stitches (sts)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)
 
Size:  22-24 Inch head
 
Notes:
Ch1 does not count as st
Ch 3 Counts as dc

Pattern:
R: 1 – With C1, Ch5, join in a circle, ch3, 9 dc in the circle, join, ch 3 (10 dc)
 

R: 2 – 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc, join, ch 3 (20 dc)

R: 3 – 1 dc in the next dc, FPDC in the next dc,

*2 dc in the next dc, FPDC in the next dc*

Repeat From * to * Around, join, ch 3 (20dc, 10 FPDC) 
 

 
R: 4 – 2 dc in the next dc, FPDC in the FPDC,

*1 dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the next dc, FPDC in the FPDC*

Repeat From * to * Around, join, ch 3(30 dc, 10 FPDC) 
 

 
R: 5 – 1 dc in the next 2 dc, FPDC in The FPDC,

*1 dc in the next 3 dc, FPDC in The FPDC*

Repeat From * to * Around, join, ch 3 (30 dc, 10 FPDC)
 

R: 6 – R: 7 -  Repeat R: 5

Ch1 After R: 7
 

R: 8 – 1 sc in each st around, join, (40sc)

R: 9 - Chg to C2, ch1, 

*sk the next sc, sc in the next sc, ch1*

Repeat From * to * around.

Remember to St loosely so you keep the hatband stretchy.

Do Not Join - R: 9 - R: 11 are stitched in Continuous Rounds.

R: 10 : Sc in the 1 st ch1 sp. *ch1, sc in the next ch1 sp*

Repeat From * to * Around.

Use your thumb and finger to find the ch1 sps

R: 11 - Repeat R: 10

To Weave in slst in the next ch1 sp, and use your crochet

 hook to weave in the ends securely.

Add a Pom Pom if desired.
