IT'S FRIDAY FUN DAY! Skull Dog Collar Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

 IT'S FRIDAY FUN DAY!
Skull Dog Collar
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

I designed this simple Crochet pattern
back in 2010 For Maximo.
I think he looks adorable in this Collar.
Rosie Looks pretty cute also.

I decided it was time to retest, and update this
Crochet Pattern.
And record a brand new video, also.

It's easy to stitch up, and looks so cute in many different colors. You can even make it into a headband or collar for
you to match your pet. It makes a fun a simple Halloween
for photos, also.

COFFEE AND CROCHET PODCAST - Can I Crochet For My Dogs? Cats? Pets? Of Posh Pooch Designs

 COFFEE AND CROCHET PODCAST
With Sara Sach
Can I Crochet For My Dogs? Cats? Pets?
Of Posh Pooch Designs

Crocheting For Dogs and Pets can be a little tricky. Here's a few tips to help you.

1. Know your pet before crocheting for them.
Some are chewers, some are destroyers. But every dog is
different so get to know them first.

2. The size of the dog or pet does matter.
Small dogs can choke more easily on strands of yarn
and the yarn can get caught in their intestine if they
 swallow it.
Larger dogs usually don't have this issue.

3. Use old yarns before you use the good stuff,
until you know what they will do.

4. Be careful using buttons or dangly things they can
caught in their teeth or toenails.
This can be scary and painful if they do get caught,
or choke.

So What can I crochet For My dogs and pets.
Make Blankets and cushions.
Decorative collars and bandannas.
 Sweaters and coats
toys.

To get Your dog to except a new blanket, sweater or toy,
rub it on your skin so it can get your scent on it.
Also put it in the blankets or bedding where they rest and
sleep so it can get their scent on it.
Smell is the most important thing for dogs.

Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

Happy Fall Y'all!

With the arrival of Fall, comes the arrival of

"Pumpkin Spice" in everything possible.

LOL!!!!

So I found this awesome

Caron Simply Soft in a

 "Pumpkin Spice" Variegated Yarn.

The only places I have

seen this yarn is at  Wal-mart.

The wrapper Calls it "Gold".

I could not find it online!

Anyway I Thought, "This is perfect for a Fall Scarf".

Now it is written for dog, and pets,

but it is easy to adjust, even for a human.
