A New Leaf Wrap Shawl Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

A New Leaf Wrap Shawl Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

When I think of Fall, I think of the leaves changing colors,
but I also think that the changing of the seasons is a time
for us to think about personal changes, as well.
To contemplate my life and goals for the
 coming new year.

I designed This Wrap Shawl Crochet Pattern using the
Yarnspirations Caron Cakes yarn. The Colorway is Called
Fruitcake. The Colors in the Yarn cake spoke to me.
The colors are bright and cheerful and reminded me of
when the leaves are changing colors in the autumn.
I decided to add a leaf style stitch pattern to go along
 with the bright colors.

I think You will really enjoy this Leaf Crochet Pattern.
It is simple 6 row repeat that form the leaf pattern,
that is easy to memorize, and It's a great take along project.

How To Make A Crochet Flower Picture | Posh Pooch Designs

How To Make A Crochet Flower Picture
By Sara Sach of
Posh Pooch Designs

I think it would be fun to make one for each season.
Summer - Sunflowers or Marigolds
Fall - Fall Leaves
Winter - Pine Trees or Poinsettias
Spring - Spring Flowers
I guess I better get some more frames.
I had this Frame from  a previous project.
The glass had broken out, so it works great for this project.
Any 8 X 10 Frame will work.
This was such a fun project, I can hardly wait to get the other seasons done.

Burlap Wreath With Crochet Appliques

I couldn't find my Fall Wreath.
I have not seen it since we moved to this house
 last Thanksgiving.
So, I decided to make a new one!

I really love the combination of the Burlap
and Crochet appliques.

Here is how I made the Burlap Wreath:
I used a whole roll of Burlap.
I bought it at Walmart,
in the craft department.

Then I added the appliques:
These are all Free Patterns I found on
All Flowers and Leaves were made from
Worsted Weight yarns, (4)
such as Red Heart Super Saver.
Since it was going to be hanging on the door for a while,
I wanted a good sturdy yarn.

Carolina Guzman

I added a big orange bow,
and attached all the appliques
with hot glue, So they would stay put.
I do really love how my wreath turned out.
I think it makes my home look welcoming for Fall.
