Looking for a quick last minute costume idea?

The Super Hero Eye Masks Are fun and silly

 For kids and adults. 

I mean who doesn't love a super hero?

They are super fun to stitch up, and wear. 

They stitch up fast because we use 2 strands of 

medium (4) yarn. And They will fit just about 

anyone, because they have a tie to hold them on.

 No buttons, snaps or Velcro. Just simple ties.

Super Hero Eye Mask Crochet Pattern

Skill: Easy
 
Materials:
Crochet Hook - I / 5.5 mm.
Yarn – Med (4) Acrylic, Redheart Super 1 oz. 

          (any yarn from your yarn stash)
Yarn Needle

Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Skip (sk)
 
Size:
Mask measure 8 inched across, not counting the ties.
It will fit also anyone
 
Notes:
Mask is stitched holding 2 strands of med (4) weight yarn together

Pattern:
 
R: 1 – Ch 27, sc in the 2^nd ch from the hook, sc in
Each ch across, turn, ch 1 (26 sc)

R: 2 – Sc in the 1 st sc, ch 10, sk the next 10 sc,
1 sc in the next 4 sc, ch 10, sk the next 10 sc,
Sc in the last sc, turn, ch 1 (6 sc, 20 chs)

R: 3 – – Sc in the 1^st sc, St 10 sc around ch10, 1 sc in the next 4 sc,

St 10 sc around ch10, sc the last sc, 

Ch 26, slst in the 2^nd ch from the hook,
Slst in each ch across,
Slst in each st across the top of the mask,
Ch 25, tie off weave in your ends.

Super Hero Dog Capes Crochet Pattern

Add This Crochet pattern to Your Ravelry Favorites.

Skill : Easy

Materials:

Crochet Hook - H

Yarn - Worsted Weight( 4)1 OZ Red, Blue or What ever colors you want.

I used Red Heart Super Saver

Yarn Needle

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Slip Stitch ( sl st)

Double Crochet ( dc)

Sizes- These are approximate sizes

XS- 2-5 lb dogs ( S-6-9 lb dogs, M- 10-15 lbs dogs)

Notes:  The neck ties are make to be short and tied in a permanent knot.

 I did this so the ties will not come untied, or get caught in the legs or nails.  

Also be careful about the length of your cape, as they can

 spin to the front, and get caught in the legs and nails, if they are too long.

R : 1  - Starting with the neck ties- Ch 52(61,72) Sl st in the 2nd ch from the hook,

sl st in the next 17(20,24) chs, 1 dc in the next 17(20,24),

 leave the last 17(20,24) un-worked, turn, ch 1.

R : 2 - 2 dc in the 1st dc, 1 dc in the next 15(18,22)dc, 2 dc in the last dc, ch 1, turn

(19, 22, 26 dc)

R : 3 - 2 dc in the 1st dc, 1 dc in the next 17(20,24)dc, 2 dc in the last dc, ch 1, turn

(21, 24, 28 dc)

R : 4 - 1 dc in each dc, ch 1, turn (21, 24, 28 dc)

R : 5 - 11(14,15) - Repeat R : 4 

R: 12 - 1 sc in each dc, tie off, weave in your ends.
