Kindness is the Opposite of Bullying

I want to start out this morning's blog with saying,
I hate bullying,
But I do not hate Bullies,
 I feel sorry for them.

A Few Days ago, my daughter in law, my grand daughter and
I were at a Chicken Restaurant for lunch.
My grand daughter, who is not quite 2 years old yet,
wanted to play in the play area.

There were a few children in there,
we were the only adults around.
I looked over to see a boy of about the size of 6 year old,
on top of my grand daughter, pushing her in the
corner with his elbow on her neck.

I walked over, moved the boy and picked her up.
I told the boy he was being mean.
So we proceeded to go to the car and leave.

As I was strapping her in the car seat,
a woman came up to me asked me what I did to her son.
I said, "who is your son."
She pointed. I said I moved him off of my grand daughter.
She said," Why didn't you come to me."
I said you were no where around
and I didn't know who he belonged too.

I thought she was going to apologize for her son
 putting a "choke hold"on a baby.
OH NO!
I got yelled at, and cussed at, and called names.
Loudly.
I smiled..Big mistake!
The Filth from her mouth continued.

I do want to explain that I have a condition called,
"inappropriate laughter". I laugh at weird times.
Like when something emotional happens.

Anyway, I ignored her and got in the car and left-
Then burst out laughing.

The reason the child was a bully,
is he learned it from his mommy.
How very sad.
We all probably, by now,
 have experienced Cyber Bullying.
People think that they can "say" what ever they
want and it won't hurt anyone.
But it does.
It goes on in all walks of life,
Even the Crochet World!
Please, remember to be kind,
as you never know what battle the person
 you are bullying, is fighting.

Kindness is the opposite of Bullying.

Ephesians 4:32

" And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

Happy Birthday to My Daughter! More Silly Wigs!

Today is MY beautiful,
talented,
and Amazing
daughter's Birthday!
Happy Birthday!!!!!

When she was here visiting
I released a fun crochet Wig pattern.
And we had fun playing with it!
Please go and Wish her
Happy Birthday
at

You can find the free Pattern at this link

Well, we laughed about making
some for the Pooches,
 So I did.
Maximo Got a Camo with an orange stripe,
and a tuft a hair at the top.
Rosie got Bright orange with a teal stripe
and neon yellow bow.
I did add a tie to keep their hats
on long enough to get a pic!
Maximo's head is a little bigger then Rosie's,
so I added a few extra chains
 to make it longer.

They were not as amused as I was.
But once I paid them with a dog treat,
 they were plenty happy.
Then I realized the wigs would fit perfect on
 my grand daughter's doll.
As well as, the American girl dolls.

So I made the hats with the

only making it smaller.
By adjusting the amount of
chains and rows.
I started with 24 chains,
and only did 14 rows.
8 chs for the bangs,
and I did 14 rows for the bangs,
and 14 rows for the second side.

Colorado Ear Warmer Headband Crochet Free Pattern

Colorado Ear Warmer Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

I like to walk my dogs and even jog, sometimes.
There are so many wonderful walking trails here,
I don't think I can walk them all.
It has been fun exploring and finding new ones.

When it's cold I wear a hat, but when it is just cool I prefer
a headband or ear warmer. It keeps my part from getting
sun burned and if my ears get chilly, I can pull it over my ears.

Although this pattern has the Colorado Flag style,
you can make it in any color or colors, and it is quick project.
It is perfect with school or team colors.
Please, show this pattern some Love,
And make it a favorite on

It would also be great worked in
