LIVE WITH SARA - How "Knotty" are you? | Posh Pooch Designs

"LIVE WITH SARA"

With Sara Sach  of  Posh Pooch Designs

Today's Questions, How "Knotty" are you?"
Do You use knots in your crochet?
I have always heard, "There are no knots in Crochet "
Is There ever a time when knots are appropriate?

See The Video On My Youtube Crochet
Channel At This LINK

Sometimes
 yarn just
has knots that
you have
to work in,
 my favorite
method is the

 "Russian Join".
This Join is best when changing colors,
or joining in a new Skein of yarn,
in the middle of a Round or row.

When changing colors at the ends of rows,
it is best to change colors and then come back
and weave those ends in later.

When you are making Stuffies, sometimes you have
to make a knot. and you will need to hid it in the seam.
You can add a dot of fabric glue to keep the knot from
 coming up done.
If you do ever "need" To knot your yarn, you can
add some Fabric glue to keep it from coming untied.

I Am So excited to Start my Joy Journal!

Holiday Ornament Washcloth and Hot Pad | Posh Pooch Designs

Holiday Ornament Washcloth and
 Hot Pad / Pot Holder
By Sara Sach of
This Christmas Crochet Pattern can be used
to crochet a washcloth or a hot pad.
I think I will hang some out front in my big Pine trees, and in my entry way for the holidays.

The yarn choice is up to you.
I recommend using Cotton if you are going
to put something hot on it.

If you are not going to put hot things on it,
or use it as a decoration Acrylic yarn  is fine.

You can stitch

 2 of the
ornaments
 together
for a thicker pot holder, also.
