Coffee And Crochet Pod Cast - Let's Talk About Holiday Stress / Posh Pooch Designs

 Coffee And Crochet Pod Cast
With Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs
Let's Talk About Holiday Stress

Let's Talk About Holiday Stress
How can I avoid it?
You can't, but You can use tools to help ease it.
All the parties, get togethers, gift exchanges,
and family events can be really overwhelming.
So we need a simple plan not just get through
 it, but to enjoy it.

1. Make a decision to enjoy the holidays.
Do the things that bring joy.
Avoid those things that don't.

2. Concentrate on the individuals and moments,
rather than "whole" experience.

3. Practice gratitude and thankfulness. Find little things
to be thankful for, and tell others who you are thankful for.

4. Be generous and giving. Give to charities and
 people you love.

5. Laugh, and have fun.
Yes, go ahead and laugh, finding the things that are silly,
And think about those things.
Silly Dad joke are awesome for this.

6. Take a time out for selfcare,
find a quiet place read a book, do a craft or just rest.
And, It helps if there is a puppy to cuddle with.

7. Lastly, set a side other's expectations
and do what you can. It's OK To say No, if you are feeling overwhelmed. Be honest and say I can't do that right now.
