The Little Heart Pillow is a darling and sweet little pillow,

that any one would love. It measures 10 X 10 Inches.

It has a cute little face smiling up at you just

begging for a squeeze.

Make one and give it to that special someone, 

or make one for yourself.

Little Heart Pillow

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet Hook – K / 6.50 MM - Pillow
                          - H / 5.00 MM – eyes, cheeks
Yarn – Any Worsted Weight (4) – 3 oz.
            I used Red heart Super Saver, lips stick pink,
            small amount of pink, black for eyes and face.
Yarn Needle
Stuffing – about 6 oz.

Stitched:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Double Crochet Two Together – dc Decrease  (dctog)

Size: 10 X 10 Inches

Notes:
Ch 3 counts as dc
Ch 1 does not count as a st

Pattern: Make 2 hearts

R: 1 – Holding the 2 strands of yarn together,
Ch 4, 3 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, turn, ch3. (4 dc)

R: 2 – 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 2 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3. (6dc)

R: 3 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 4 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3. (8dc)

R: 4 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 6 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3. (10dc)

R: 5 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 8 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3. (12dc)

R: 6 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 10 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3. (14dc)

R: 7 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 12 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3. (16dc)

R: 8 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 14 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3. (18dc)

R: 9 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in the next 16 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3. (20dc)


R: 10 – 1 dc in the next 9 dc, turn, ch3. (10dc)

R: 11 – 1 dc in each dc, turn, ch1. (10dc)

R: 12 – dctog 1st 2 dc, 1 dc in the next 6 dc, dctog the last 2 dc, ch1, turn. (8sts)

R: 13 - dctog 1st 2 dc, 1 dc in the next 4dc, dctog the last 2 dc, ch1, turn (6sts)

R: 14 - dctog 1st 2 dc, 1 dc in the next 2dc, dctog the last 2 dc, Tie off. (4sts)


Attach yarn to the other side of the heart and repeat R: 10 – R: 14
Weave in all the ends.


Place the 2 hearts together, front sides out. Joint yarn to the side of the heart.
Sc evenly around the heart, sewing them together. Leave a 4 inch opening.
Stuff the heart with the stuffing.
Sc the opening closed.

Eyes: Make 2 with black for eyes, 2 with pink for cheeks.

With 1 strand of yarn, and The H Hook,
ch 3, 7 sc in the 4th ch from the hook, join to top of ch 3,
 tie off leaving a 12 inch tail of yarn. Sew onto heart. (8sc)

Smile : Embroider on a silly smile using straight stitches.
Add Eye lashes, or what ever you want to add.
