and Stuffie, too!  Crochet Pattern

I Wanted To design a Happy Halloween decoration
 that can be used as a washcloth, Pot Holder and Fun decoration.  And when I think of Halloween, I think Candy Corn!

This Silly Candy Corn is just perfect!
You can stitch it out of Cotton or Acrylic,
 depending on what you will use it for.
Any Md (4) yarn will work.



Make them with a silly face or without
 the face, both are super cute.

Candy Corn Washcloth, Pot Holder and Stuffie, Too!  Crochet Pattern

Skill: Easy
 
Materials:
 Crochet Hook – H / 5.00 MM
Yarn – Med (4) Cotton or Acrylic –
              (C1- White, C2- Orange, C3 – Yellow - .5 of each color)
             Small Amount of Black if the face is desired.
Yarn Needle
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Change to (chgto)
 
Size: 9 X 11 Inches
 
Notes:
Ch3 Counts as a dc
When changing colors, ch3 after the color change
 
Pattern:
R: 1 – With C1, Ch 4, 5 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, 
turn, ch3 (6 dc)
 
R: 2 – 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 4 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3 (8 dc)
 
R: 3 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 6 dc, 
2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3 (10 dc)
 


R: 4 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 8 dc, 
2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch 3 (12 dc)
 
R: 5 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 10 dc, 
2 dc in the last dc, turn (14 dc)
 


R: 6 – Chgto C2, ch 3, 1 dc in the same st as the ch3,
1 dc in next 12 dc, 2 dc in the last dc, turn (16 dc)
 


R: 7 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 14 dc, 
2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch3 (18 dc)
 
R: 8 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 16 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch3 (20 dc)
 
R: 9 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 18 dc, 
2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch3 (22 dc)
 
R: 10 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 20 dc, 
2 dc in the last dc, turn, ch3 (24 dc)
 
R: 11 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 20 dc, 
2 dc in the last dc, turn. (26 dc)
 


R: 12 – Chgto C3, ch3, 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 
1 dc in next 22 dc, 2 dc in the last dc, turn (28 dc)
 


R: 13 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 24 dc, 
2 dc in the last dc, turn (30 dc)
 
R: 14 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 1 dc in next 26 dc,
 2 dc in the last dc. (32dc)
 


R: 15 – Chgto C2, evenly sc across the bottom of the Candy corn, 
3 sc in the corner,
Evenly sc up the side of the candy corn, in the point, 
ch 10, join in the same st to form a loop,
Evenly sc down the last side of the Candy corn,
 join to the 1st sc, tie of and weave in your ends.
 
For a thicker not pad, make 2 candy corns and stitch
 them together using R: 15.
 


Face:
With Black yarn make 2 eyes – 
ch2, 7 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
join, tie off leaving a 12 in tail of yarn for sewing
eyes on the candy corn.
 
Sew eyes on the face.
 
Embroider Smile using black yarn and needle, as shown.



To Make A Stuffie:
 Make 2 Candy Corns
Place then together, right sides out. Sc Them together, stuff and close.
