Friday Fun Day - Coffee And Sugar Face Scrub And Facecloth Pattern| Posh Pooch Designs

Friday Fun Day -
Coffee And Sugar Face Scrub
and A Facecloth Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

For Today's Friday Fun Day let's make a
Coffee and Sugar Face Scrub. It's easy to make,
and you will love using it.

I Love The Holidays, but it can be a very stressful
time of year.
Using a Sugar scrub is  a wonderful way to
Pamper Us in ridding our faces and bodies of all the
stress and tension of the Holidays.

See The Video On My Crochet Youtube
 Channel at This LINK

The Ingredients
I try to use all natural ingredients.

Sugar/ Brown Sugar - One of the best natural
 ingredients for exfoliating the skin.

Coffee Grounds  - Is perfect for adding to face and
body scrubs. It clears pores, and rids dry and dead
skin cells. And it helps with reducing acne swelling
 and inflammation.
I have a coffee grinder so I grind mine to fine ground.

Coconut Oil -  Is a moisturizer, and cleanser.
It  has natural antibacterial properties,
And hydrates the skin.

Vanilla - Is added for a natural fragrance.

The Recipe

Simple Coffee And Sugar Face Scrub

What you need:
1.       ½ Cup of Granulated Sugar
2.       ¼ Cup Coffee Grounds
3.       ¼ Cup Coconut Oil
4.       1 teaspoon Vanilla

Mix together the Sugar and coffee together in a
 bowl with a spoon.
Add the Coconut oil, and keep mixing.
Lastly add the vanilla and mix, again.

It will look like wet beach sand.

Store in an air tight container and use it whenever
you need to exfoliate your face.

For A Body Scrub –
What you need:
1.       ½ Cup of Granulated Sugar
2.       ¼ Cup Coffee Grounds
3.       ½  Cup Coconut Oil
4.       1 teaspoon Vanilla

Mix the same as the face scrub.
It will be a little smoother and thicker,
but still be ‘sandy”.

Again Store in an air tight container, as we do not want to attract ants,
Keep it on the counter, not in the refrigerator.

The Square Face Washcloth Is perfect for washing
your face but also for using with the Sugar scrubs.
The Crochet Pattern And Video
was updated with a new Video in 2020, so I am
not going to film another video, but refer you the video.
It takes very little yarn, so it's a great way to use up left over yarns and make something you use everyday.

See The Video at This LINK

It is one of my favorite face washcloths because it's
easy to stitch up and the perfect size for
washing my face.
