I went shopping at My local Michael's Craft Store
Saturday Morning With My husband.
He loves to Yarn shop with me, and is great at picking colors.

I Picked Up Some of Jonah Larson's Yarn kits.
This is Jonah of Jonah's hands.
He is a wonderful young man, well spoken and
loves yarn and yarn crafts.
The kits were on clearance for a great price of $3.99 Each.
They are a perfect sets or gifts for children and Beginners.
Each set has all you need to complete a crochet project.
The Crochet Hooks are Boye hooks and the yarn is
nice quality. And it also includes the crochet pattern to go
 along with the project.

I am very impressed with Jonah Larson because he has
made it completely normal for a young man to love to
crochet and do yarn crafts.

Crochet is NOT Just for Grandmas!
It's For everyone!
Here is the LINK For His Crochet Youtube Channel

As I always say, Everyone should Crochet, it's so good
for you. Don't let what other say or think stop you
 from Crochet and crafts.

While At Michael's I also saw an endcap of
 O'Go Blanket yarn.
It was 10.5 oz. for $11.99. A Little Steep for me,
When the regular Blanket Yarn of 10.5 oz. is $8.99.

Thought I would share what I found.
They did not have any of the other O'Go yarns.
I might be tempted to get some,
 if they had Christmas colors.

New Cotton Yarn At Walmart!

This Week's Question?
So is Knitting and crochet the same?

Here's Quote From Martha Stewart,
"Both are really methods of stitching yarn together, just in different styles.
In knitting, the stitches form a "V" shape. In crochet, the stitches
are more like knots. Knitting uses a pair of long needles to form the loops,
moving a set of loops from one needle to another; the stitches are
held on the needle. Crochet uses a single hook to hook the loops
together directly on the piece. It is this major difference that makes
crochet much easier to work with than knitting."
Educate in kind and thoughtful manner, you may gain a new friend.

There are many countries where the terns "knitting and Crocheting"
are interchangeable. Referring to Both as knitting. Yes, we use different
tools for each but we are still stitching loops of yarn into wonderful projects.

So the next time come one asks you what your knitting, just tell them,
It's a hat or blanket. The average person really doesn't know now one
from the other, and are only wanting to what you are making.

************************************************

I Picked up Some Mill End Bags of yarn at my
Local Dollar Tree. 14oz. bags For $5.00 Each.

It's can be a  great bargain.
But What are they?

1. They are NOT 2nds or inferior yarn.
They are the same quality as the regular yarns.

2. They may be underweight or over weight
balls or skeins. So they are rejected for retail sale.

3. The Dye lot might be slightly off.
So They can not be sent for retail sale.

4. They are what's left on the end of the "mill" and
Again is rejected For retail sale. and may have an
extra knot or smudge.

So They discount the yarn, bag it up,
divided yarn weight and  by ounces
and we get the fun of buying mill end bags of yarn.
Usually when you purchase on line you never know
what you are going to get.
