The free crochet pattern is the "Fringe Collar".
This Pattern will work for any size Dog or Cat!

I really had a fun time designing this one.
The length of the fringe is totally up to you.
I really liked the effect of the longer fringe,
but you might like the fringe shorter.

Skill: Easy
Materials:
Hook - H
Yarn Needle
1 inch button
Yarn : Worsted Weight (4) And Variegated yarn.
I used Red Heart Super Saver
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
Size: 9 inch neck, Pattern is easily adjusted
Gauge: 3 chs =1 inch
Pattern Notes:
ch1 at ends of rows does not count as a stitch.
Pattern:
R - 1 : Ch 41 for a 9 inch collar, (3 ch = 1 inch )
1 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook, and in each ch across, turn, ch 1
(40 hdc)
R - 2 : 1 hdc in each hdc, turn, ch1 (40 hdc)
R - 3 - R - 5 : Repeat Row 2
R - 6 : 1 hdc in each hdc across row, then place 5 hdc across the end of the collar,
turn, ch 1
R - 7 : 1 hdc in the 1st 2 hdc, ch 2, sk 1 hdc, 1 hdc in the last 2 hdcc,
to form the button hole.
Tie off. Weave in your ends.
NOTE: If your dog or pet is a chewer, you can stitch the ends together and
slip it on over their heads. and not add the button.
Fringe :
Cut 10 inch strands of yarn
Putting 2 strand together work in each st around the bottom
row of the collar to form a "mane" appearance.
Sew on a large button on the other send of the collar that fits the button hole .
