12 Collars of Christmas - Pattern Give Away #2


Last Week There were only 12 
Weeks till Christmas, YIKES   
   This week there are only 11! 
Double YIKES!    
  I have decided to design 
a new crochet collar for
 each week, hense the name 
"12 Collars of Christmas". 
Last week I gave you the pattern
 for The "Jingle Bell collar".

This weeks pattern is : 
BowTie Collar

Dog Bowtie Collar Crochet Pattern

Skill - Easy

Materials:
Hook- H
Yarn Needle
Yarn : Black and White worsted weight yarn

Stitches :
Chain ch
Slip stitch ss
Single Crochet sc
Half Double Crochet hdc
Double Crochet dc

Collar Band : Ch 34 for a 9 inch collar ( add 3 ch for every inch)

Row 1 : 1 hdc in each ch , ch turn

Row 2 : 1 sc in the first st, ch 1 , skip the next, sc in the next st, ch 1, skip the next stitch, continue pattern to the end of the row, ch 1 turn

Right Side of the Collar,

Row 3 : hdc in the first 17 sts, ch, turn

Row 4 : 7 ss, 4 hdc, 4 dc, ch 1, turn

Row 5 : 4 dc, 4 hdc, 7 ss, tie off

Left Side of the collar, L Row 3 : attach yarn in the next stitch right next to the right collar, ch 3, 16 hdc, ch1 , turn

 Row 4 : 7 ss, 4 hdc,  4 dc, ch1, turn,

 Row 5 : 4 dc, 4 hdc, 7 ss tie off

Ties and finish:

Reattach yarn to the top right edge of the collar, ch 20, ss back up the chain, and join with a sc, sc across the top of the collar, when you reach the left edge, ch 20, ss back up the ch, attach and tie off.

Bow Tie :

Row 1: Ch 15, 14 hdc, ch 1 turn

Row 2 :& 3 : 14 hdc, ch 1, turn

Row 4 : 14 hdc, tie off, weave in ends

With a 12 inch piece of matching yarn, tightly wind it around the center of the bow,tie and tight tightly then attach to the collar.

mom to get out of her
 Drs. Appointment. 
I was inspired by a bull dog
 I saw on a TV commercial.  Woof!  
Wonder what next weeks collar will be?????

I need one for a golden Retreiver do you have any patterns for them? He is a service dog and I am deaf.

Any of these collars can be adjusted to fit large dogs.

I have a tuxedo cat that this is going to look adorable on! He already has a natural "tux" so this completes his outfit!
