The Winner For the July Give Away is....
Is it you?
Watch The Video and See.
London Kaye Yarn Bomb Kit
I wish I could keep it for myself.

A Question I received a few months ago,
"Why are you doing Crochet Videos, Don't you know no one Crochets any more?"

First I was hurt, next I was mad, then I decided to do a survey.
I asked My Crochet Designer Friends What age
 category they fit into.

This is the results

       Age              Percent
60-70            20%
50- 59           30%
40-49           20 %
30-39            15 %
20-29             10%
19 and Under 5%

I think This chart shows that people are still crocheting, but and maybe we do need to encourage younger people to learn to Crochet.
We Do not want this Wonderful art to stop.

Keep Calm,
And
Crochet On!

Vintage Christmas Boots Free Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Vintage Christmas Boots
Free Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

The First time I saw The Christmas Granny Square Boots
was in the Early 1970's when My Friend's Mom was
making them. She put crumpled news paper in the toe
of the boot. I think she used big pickle
or mayonnaise jars to hold cookies she had made.

A few years later I was given one from my
Sunday School Teacher.
She put tissue paper in the toe of the boot, and
a big paper cup in the leg of the boot.
She filled it with candy. The old Fashioned hard
kind that tasted like cloves and cinnamon.
I pulled out that boot the other day,
and decided to share it with you, with a modern twist.

I used Sparkle yarn From Hobby Lobby
/ I Love This Yarn Metallic and
I Found these jars at my Local Grocery Store,
And they are Perfect.

Vintage Christmas Dress Hot Pad Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Vintage Christmas Dress

Hot Pad/ Pot Holder

Free Crochet Pattern

Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

The Vintage Christmas Dress Hot Pad with
 a Modern twist.
I designed this Pattern several years ago, and decided it
needed an update and  a Little Sparkle.

If you are going to use it as an actual Hot Pad.
you will want to make it using cotton yarns.
If you are making it for decorative purposes,
like I am, than Acrylic is fine.

Although this Pattern is considered a "Christmas"Design,
you can stitch it up any others of your choosing.
